How warm is the weather where you are?,pleased you stop in hotels now and then why is everything Joe touches he bran it lol how much did you pay for a night? ,you sure do see some beautiful scenery on you bikes,don’t talk about snakes I would imagine there is a few about just get your flute out Joe then you will charm them lol looks fun going down hill 40 mph sounds fun ,have you had any punches as yet ?when you go on them tracks do you ever finish one ,hope you enjoy the war museum I remember this war it was terrible mass graves everywhere never understood what it was about ,well most enjoyable blog lots to look at just take care on them bloody roads ,till next time keep yourself safe,John 🇬🇧🌹👀✅😂🤩🎊😬🫢🫣🤭🫢🤔🤬
Thanks John! Touch wood bums haven’t been too bad! In Bosnia around £25-30 a night which is really good. Touch wood no punctures! Yeah it was awful & unnecessary death of thousands of people, would recommend Johnny Harris’ video on here about the Bosnia war

I’m surprised at how few cyclists do & even with no lights etc - we’ve tried to stand out as much as possible with the hi-vis bag cover & shiny silver shield (floor treasure 😂) - also lights on flashing on every road. Thank you! 😂

There were a couple of times when the music was playing and you had the film on fast play and one of you was in front snaking (no pun intended) round the corners that i was reminded of the Long Way Round/down/up films of Charlie Boorman and Ewan McGregor. Cycles not motorbikes but just as funny and epic! One thing - when's the wedding - i get no sense of time pressure but it must be soon and also do you just fly back from Athens at the end? 🦆 🦆
Loved that series of them two! We’d love to tackle a challenge on motorbikes one day and did consider it for this but both need to get our tests done! So weddings at the end of the month, we’re getting a ferry over to Greece & then picking up where we left off after essentially

When you said you were going to Mostar, to someone like me who remembers the war, I thought you were crazy! But it looks absolutely beautiful, and hopefully it’s peaceful and safe for you. I’m glad you get to spend time in Sarajevo. That will be very interesting. Look after yourselves 😊
It shows how scarily quickly these things can be forgotten. I'm 40 and all these place names are really familiar for all the wrong reasons. It's definitely a country I want to visit
I was there in 2001 working at the aluminum plant. Peacekeeping forces were still in the hotel I stopped in. The devastation was terrible to see and very upsetting.
It’s safe to travel all across Bosnia and Herzegovina. Such a stunning place and the people are so friendly. Hopefully the tourism picks up for them because like to said people still very vividly remember the war. Thank you 😊

@@DanniandJoe I'd like to go because it looks stunning plus I want to learn about what happened. My daughter wants to study international relations at uni so visiting places and learning from the people there would be a hugely beneficial experience

There’s a venomous viper in Bosnia, it’s got quite a distinctive head (I want to says it’s called a horned viper) could be wrong. It’s venomous but anti venom is readily accessible. Remember brown bears also, don’t think there’s as many bears as Canada etc but European brown bears still exist
Yeah we checked on google after just incase - theres the horned one and another viper is venomous too. Also had to google what to do incase of bear encounter too 😂😫

Did you consider following the EuroVelo Route 8?
We looked into it but so much of it still incomplete/in development so no signs etc - we’ll likely follow the route after the wedding though to see how it is!

So Ollie who runs ‘The Bike Boat’ near Bath recommended these Schwabble Marathon plus tyres (just normal with inner tubes) and what a recommendation as not a single puncture! They’re still on the bikes now

Hi Danny and Joe. I want to thank you for the hilarious content in this video. I don’t sleep much and I was awake around 3 am last night when I watched this video. I always look at the comments too and the top comment was this one from John Sutherland. As the video unfolded that comment was uppermost on my mind. Imagine the scene. There I am. 3 in the morning, sitting up in bed with my wife asleep next to me and I am watching your video when it comes to the part where Joe has an altercation with the collapsible screen. Well. All I could do was hear the remark in my head from mr Sutherland as I watched Joe struggle with the screen an I have to tell you, I was in hysterics. I watch videos with earbuds in so that I do not make a noise and wake my wife. Have you tried holding in laughter. I was holding my face, covering my mouth with my hands and the more I tried to stifle my chuckles, the worse it became. A right belly laugh. Soon, the whole bed was shaking up and down and of course…..the inevitable….I woke my wife up. She was not pleased.
Anyway, thank you, both of you for making my day/night. I think you are both very brave making this journey on bikes. Hope you have a good birthday Joe. Just wonder if we will see the completion of the camper when you return to the UK?

I'm not really enjoying your cycle trip. 😢. Spent many hours watching your skills renovating the narrowboat, we were looking forward to your adventures on the canals but you seem to have lost your track. 😢
Would be nice when you get back if you could show us your finished narrowboat and how it performs on the UK Waterways.
Why would you put yourselves through the horrible journey on bikes, you not even getting any time together - not really entertaining.
They're having an adventure & I'm pretty sure they're also going to a wedding, don't worry they'll get back to the narrowboat eventually if they don't step on a snake or do anything too life threatening. You must admit they're a plucky pair.
Hi Danni and Joe, stunning views thank you for sharing. This trip would make a great book. The do’s and don’ts and all the funny stories in between.
I think we covered this in a couple of videos before we left - we’ve never just been about the boat, we love adventures of all kinds and will use any excuse to get on another one. So when our friends said they were getting married abroad we thought - road trip! That didn’t go to plan with the van not being ready so we wanted to test ourselves physically and take this opportunity to try something new. For at-least 6 months the plan’s been to return to the boat properly in July which we’ll still be doing. As far as feedback goes we’ve been inundated with positive comments about what we’re doing, more so than anything we’ve filmed before and we feel the best we have physically and mentally in a long long time 🙂
