I really enjoyed this show. A lot of RE content tends to drift heavy towards the Ws and not a lot of people are vulnerable enough to publicly share losses and mistakes. I really appreciate all the lessons shared 👍🏽

Honestly, the prospect of dealing with contractors scares me more than dealing with tenants. After a tornado planted a tree on my house, I took 6 months to find the right roofing contractors. I had to interview and reject several, each with his angle and weird demands and attempts at psychological manipulation to get me to pay for the whole job upfront. (I must look fairly stupid.) Once I had the roofing contracting company in place, the insurance would negotiate with them. That was hard enough. The Contractor's project manager tried to get my to hire him on the side for separate work, was caught doing this with other clients, and was fired, and then some. A lot of shadiness in that industry, it seems.

I think this is one of the best episodes. Someone that is honest and talked about the mistakes not only the successes.

Thank you Tony, Ashley, and Ty for an open, honest, transparent episode. I can relate to being a person who jumps off the deep in/goes all in very quickly knowing the power of real estate and how lives have been positively changed. Wonderful story, I wish you and your family abundance and joy always.

If you ask any RE investor, they all have horror stories. This episode is especially important to ground new investors to the potential headaches involved. We learn to do things the right way, and equally important is doing things the wrong way.

Thank you, Tyrin, for sharing your hardships on the start of your journey. You are really encouraging to this fellow rookie investor. I've finally taken the "Purchase" step, and getting to the the "Rented" step is taking longer than I anticipated. Fear is a multi-headed beast; once I cut off one head, there are other ones I thought would automatically fall.

It is so refreshing to listen to such a humble person sharing his story to inspire and motivate others to continue doing the hard work by not giving up in creating financial independence through Real Estate.
Thank you to the three of you for a great episode.

Real estate truly is a journey filled with highs and lows, and it's incredible to see someone sharing their honest experiences like this. Learning from mistakes and evolving as an investor is what makes this journey so rewarding!

Baltimore is a great market for investing. There are multiple major universities and hospitals, which are driving the rental market.

I have watched this guy since nursing school on his channel. Graduated in 2020 and became a registered nurse officially during COVID. Bought two multi-fam properties in Cleveland. Though I don’t have the same story, as I didn’t do a BRRR and I went the buy and hold route (which comes with its own problems), this story truly spoke to me. Motivates me to not give up. Thank you so much!

Tyrin looks pretty much dead on like Chris Tucker. Tucker's much older now, but Tyrin looks like him when he was younger like in the Rush Hour movies.
