- Yo what's good you guys in today's video I will be talking about if Kenpachi is the strongest End Of Series Bleach captain. This point of discussion has been argued on for a while now so I thought I would just quickly give my thoughts on the matter and explain exactly why I think the way I do. Honestly, I wish in the Hell Arc every captain gains a huge boost in strength or something. Like, I’m a bit sad that Shunsui isn’t one of the strongest anymore tbh,most of the other captains now are honestly fodder. I remember during arrancar and SS arc where they were legit the strongest now you just got alot of these new character who can shut blitz them…
I just wish we got to see more of the “Old Gotei strength” like Shunsui, Byakuya, Toshiro, and Shiniji becoming too dogs once again but they’re all just falling deeper.

Regarding the statement of ichigo, zaraki and aizen being the ones capable of taking down hikone -
Nothing about that statement limited it to those listed. There was not a single term which implied that ONLY these could take Hikone on.
It was simply talking about how not many can defeat Hikone, gave some examples of those who could, and then capped it off with "but no one of of a VC's level could, for sure."
This was the statement -

The paragraph is just Hisagi self-deprecating, and there's at least 3 paragraphs like it throughout the volumes where Hisagi compares himself to multiple soul reaper captains unfavorably.
Secondly regarding Iki, firstly it absorbed a small portion of reio, and it broke ichibei's seal which was 1000s of years old, it was from the time when nimaya was still researching about zanpakto and absorbing a tiny portion of reio doesn't really make that much of a difference as matsumoto had a portion as well.
Iki was originally on par with barragan, and kenpachi one shotting someone like that doesn't solidify him to be above the likes of yama and ichibei.
Kenny is fs above yama but not ichibe cause yhwach included Kenny in war potentials not yama yes he did state the reason being yama had gotten weaker from mind as he had got less blood lusted compared to 1k years ago in this context yhwach didn't talk about his strength but rather his fight capabilities as yama also said he had went all out on current yhwach so the only difference was he wasn't as bloodlusted as 1k years ago which allowed yhwach to win plus iki had defeated yama with no zanpkuto but still later it got sealed in zanpkuto but it's power didn't decrease and hikone is made by tsuniyashiro to replace reio so he clearly is strong af and still Kenny defeated him by oneshotting iki while yes tybw Kenny may not be stronger than yama but it's pretty close but Kenny keeps growing in power so he most likely surpassed yama in cfyow
Honestly I can think oh only one person that could take Kenpachi in any part of the story and that's honestly Mayuri simply on the basis of Hacks, abilities, and overall the fact the Mayuri is the most prepared person among the Gotei.

Kenpachi is only relative to TS Shikai Ichigo. Any higher forms of ichigo would just clap kenpachi.

His bankai literally warps reality. They both will literally share the damage they recieve. And his thread can literally cut anything and kenpachi can't survive after being decapitated.
I heard CFYOW saying kenpachi is the strongest soul reaper only below Aizen and Ichigo. Can someone please give me that CFYOW link or page showing that?

@@ibrahimsurti4922 It never once implied Kenpachi was on their level. It said that those 3 and Ginjo could beat Hikone in a straight up fight. Doesn’t imply any of them are relative at all. Ichigo and Aizen aren’t even relative. Yhwach can one shot Aizen’s durability and Ichigo with just Bankai and not HoS can one shot Yhwach’s durability.
So raw stats wise Ichigo >>> Yhwach >>> Aizen. Kenpachi falls below rhat as he has no scaling to Yhwach but has scaling above Hikone and Ikomi who aren’t in Yhwach or even True Shiki Ichigo’s level
The Quincy girls compared Hikone to the causal, holding back True Shikai Ichigo and concluded that Ichigo was stronger despite Hikone trying to kill and Ichigo not wanting to hurt them
I don’t remember if this was Base or transformed Hikone but either way he wouldn’t scale to Bankai Ichigo at full power, let alone HoS. Base Kenpachi without the eyepatch is at a level below held back/suppressed True Shikai Ichigo, so his Bankai would also be weaker than True Bankai Ichigo

Kenpachi is the strongest, though Kenpachi and Toshiro are relative to him still even in CFYOW.
Toshiro and Byakuya were written out of the story for a reason. In the TYBW they were shown on the same level as or superior to Kenpachi.
You said Toshiro styling on Vollstandig Gerard puts him relative to Shikai Kenpachi, but Shikai Kenpachi lost to God Sized Gerard and Bankai Kenpachi’s arm exploded trying to match Vollstandig Gerard before he got one shotted by that version of Gerard. And Toshiro causally one hand swung and cut Vollstandig Gerard’s blade in two when he tried that same attack on him. And both Toshiro and Byakuya fought final form Gerard who was on another tier form Vollstandig Gerard. And that’s not even taking into account Vollstandig Gerard for a miracle buff from Bankai Kenpachi
In CFYOW, while they didn’t have any fights, they were written out of the story with the canonical reason of going off to fight a threat that Ichigo isn’t able to defeat on his own.
So Kenpachi is fighting Hikone and Ikomi, and Byakuya and Toshiro are considered to be on a level where they can believably help Ichigo, who’s stronger than Hikone and is relative to Yhwach, in a fight.
We find out that it was a lie, But the Gotei had to make a believable lie.
And there’s some misunderstood downplay with Byakuya being = to Tokinada. It’s Base to Base and or Shikai to Shikai. But Byakuya’s Bankai is special compared to other Bankai
His specifically gives stat amps on top the general 10x boost. Over 2x speed amp to his blades, exponential AP boost with his attack mode, and an even higher exponential boost literally millions of times over lowballed as 100 million small blades form into one. And his reiatsu also buffs with Hakuteiken
And that’s also on top of Byakuya’s Shikai and Bankai getting buffed by 0 Squad training. Byakuya’s Bankai multi should fall above the *typical* 5-10x mastery amp as he has atypical training and buffs
bro you literally said nothing.. Kenpachi is levels above Byakuya and Toshiro..the fact that you are comparing them to CFYOW kenpachi who has had more time to train with his shikai and bankai is absolutely insane ..unless you telling me that byakuya can solo Hikone without his shikai
@@southterano4020 Byakuya and Toshiro are the actual prodigies among the Gotei lol. Kenpachi is likely as old as, if not older than Shunsui, considering he existed since the first gen Gotei.
If we're talking room to grow through training, Byakuya and Toshiro take it.
Zaraki's bankai also amped Gerard through miracle proportional to the output tanked. Gerard popped Vollstandig on top of this, and that is the Gerard Toshiro styled on, and Byakuya broke into fragments.
Byakuya is the next candidate for Captain Commander-the shinigami that needs to keep the other captains in line. Stated in CFYOW.
Toshiro is Toshiro-has potential likely equal to or even surpassing Byakuya. High chance he's next in line after Byakuya.
Zaraki's feats are against Hikone, who doesn't come close to scaling to Gerard or Ichigo or any other notable character the other two scale to.
Shunsui's bankai gave even TS Ichigo the chills 💀
Byakuya's amp was so ridiculous, a former Senbonzakura Kageyoshi user thought his new Shikai is his old Bankai. It's not a normal Bankai.
Toshiro's bankai has even more room to develop past his adult form showings.
These are all more impressive Bankais than Zaraki's, whose only feat is losing to Gerard.

Ikomikidome had already gained enough power to weaken Ichibei’s attack. That’s why Iko was capable of saying his name in the first place. And there is no basis for Ichibei getting stronger.

No Kenpachi dogwalks Ichibei
Iko was able to "break" ichibei's seal because he wasn't power nulled, Iko still had powers, it had a name, it was able to get stronger rather than remain at 0. it stands to reason Iko wouldn't have been able to do anything if Ichibei didn't give it a new name and seal it in a zanpakuto, making it still as strong as it was in CFYOW.
The feat itself, Kenny slicing through Iko, is rather clear cut and if you go with the idea that this Iko is > ichibei, then yes, Kenny rapes. But then there's the problem that Ichibei's shikai isn't his max, his mausoleum is, which he thought would work even though his own bankai failed. This puts Iko above 2nd invasion Yhwach but not above Ichibei. Ichibei's shikai also hits instantaneously, and reiryoku only buffs reaction, not movement speed, thus you can't casually claim Kenny blitzes even if you think he's stronger.
Kenny > Ichibei is pretty reasonable. I think a rather good argument is that Hikone was an SK candidate, whatever that means for power, with Kenny being >>>. But it's not something that can't be contested.

He automatically losses at his 3rd act of his Bankai because Kenpachi has MUCH MUCH more spiritual energy than Shunsui does and that 3rd act drains both of their spiritual energies till one gives in. In this case Shunsui would be literally drained and Kenpachi would still be good and after that Shunsui can try to cut whatever he wants on Kenpachi and all that would happen is he would hit a brick wall just like when Ichigo wasnt able to cut Kenpachi. Cant cut him if you literally have no energy left to do shit while the other one is still going strong

If Mayuri’s shikai can paralyze him, he cannot touch Yamamoto’s flames, cannot stop Ichibei’s ink Askin’s poison, Shunsui’s bankai and even Barragan, but most importantly, he wouldn’t be the guy that needed constant saving in the final arc more than anybody else. Of course, he’s a very popular character, more than the likes of Hitsugaya, so fans will overrate him, including the novel author, but fortunately Kubo doesn’t care and trolls him, so much so that Narita Kenpachi no. 1 fanboy could only hype him by defeating a (nerfed at that) hollow that couldn’t even defeat pre-arrancar Barragan (who was cornered by Tousen), or kill a Yamamoto without zanpakutou in CFYOW.
Even his “training arc”, had Unohana constantly heal him, which tires her up. Though, I find it quite genial that we had a panel of Renji when talking about his new potential rivals, Kenpachi should definitely stick around the level of people like Grimmjow and Renji, lest he gets humiliated again.
A failed character, lost all semblance of intelligence after the timeskip, lost his uniqueness in being a captain without bankai, only to be incapable of using it and fans have to continuously make up excuses whenever he’s bullied by quincy subordinates, not even Yhwach, and ignore damaging scenes, such as when Nanao clearly states that Ukitake had the highest amount of reiatsu when they were making the gate, not Kenpachi.
One can only hope that Kubo doesn’t waste hell Unohana like he did with her shinigami self.

Are you gonna talk about how Shunsui knew Ichibei’s abilities in their conversation, and had Yamamoto and Aizen (and he saw Muken Aizen, even predicted by reading his reiatsu that he was gonna attack with the hado 90)referred as monstrous reiatsu, not Ichibei, and especially Kenpachi? No? I guess it doesn’t fit your agenda, eh? How about Kenpachi being impressed that Grimmjow was comparable to freaking Nnoitra, a nobody at that point of the series, I mean, I linda get it why you would spout these falseties regarding Kenpachi, after all, once Kenpachi is being revealed as a fraud strength wise, what other motivations could somebody have to like this pre timeskip caricature? His collection of humiliations?
Maybe Kenpachi needs to get more strength to compete against Mayuri (Pernida preferring his bankai’s strength to Kenpachi’s) or Hitsugaya, before tackling the big boys, he can’t hope all of them exhaust their reiatsu by healing him, like Unohana did.
This was certainly the longest and most entertaining roast of Kenpachi I ever read. 😂 I enjoyed every word, and I think you conveyed very clearly your feelings on the character and the way people think of him. Now personally Kenpachi is my favorite character in the series, he's fun to watch, powerful, but can still be defeated if done quickly, so he isn't entirely invincible, and not much about him or his powers has been confirmed or explored, like how and why did Yachiru separate from his Zanpakuto? How and where did he get all his power as a child and why does he have way more than his body can handle? Why can he adapt so unnaturally well? What makes him like fighting so much? So many questions surround him and his powers, I just know there is more too him that meets the eye. I want to clear up a few misconceptions about Kenpachi, I do understand that people can overate him - he's not the strongest character in Bleach or anything but the way his powers work I see it being possible, if his body can take it. This is the same guy that wears an eyepatch that feeds off of his reiatsu constantly while going about daily life for hundreds of years while still being strong enough to casually take out sternritters and fight Gremmy with it on for fun, wearing that for long periods should eventually exhaust him, but it never does.
Keep in mind that Kenpachi is at a huge disadvantage, I don't think he's above hax characters yet like Ichibe, Aizen and Yhwach obviously, their literal purpose is to counter anything and everything except other hax, but it's not impossible given the time. He only learned shikai in late TYBW, and barely a bankai he doesn't even know the name of with no training, so I'd say he's still plenty unique. Character's like Byakuya, Hitsugaya and even Renji actually trained their bankai and shikai's for years, hundreds of years, and Kenpachi cuts through Gerard like butter in just a few seconds of releasing bankai. It's impressive and outrageous that he made it this far without any of that since he subconsciously suppresses himself so fights can last longer, resulting in weakening himself overtime. It isn't Kubo trolling, sometimes you just have to break a character down to build them up stronger, he did the same with Ichigo in Grimmjow's first encounter and mastering the inner hollow, Rukia in the Soul Society arc and getting her shinigami powers back, Renji in the same arc then trying to learn bankai afterward, Kenpachi to some degree wanting to know his sword name, Uryu before he regained his powers. Kubo usually has that trope, if you aren't Chad or Orihime of course, respectfully. Unohana only chose to fight, kill and revive him so she can break his restraints by force, that's the closest he ever got to training because Genryusai forbade him to train in fear of him becoming unstoppable. Kenpachi contains that much power but can't use all of it yet if he doesn't train his body to handle and adapt to it all. No doubt the sudden burst in power is taking it's toll on him.
"Kenpachi remembers there had been one time he had passed out while fighting, which was when he and Unohana had battled previously. Also recalling their previous encounter, Unohana acknowledges back then, Kenpachi had been much stronger than her, and it was during this time he subconsciously placed limitations on his own power, afraid he would forever lose his interest for battle by killing her, his first true opponent." - Chapter 525. You see? Kenpachi is a simple but particular character, not many understand. But this chapter confirms that as a child he was already stronger than Unohana, "much stronger" he even scared her upper chest. That's absurd. But I am not making this up or hyping anything. He holds back his true power in every fight by handicapping himself. But he had to grow out of that eventually, so I wouldn't exactly call training or finding one's self "humiliating," but to each their own.
Also just to clarify, Unohana never exhausted her Reiatsu healing Kenpachi, kaido is almost completely different than kido, normal kido you expend reiatsu into spells. With kaido it's actually the opposite, you replenish reiatsu by strictly healing, aka healing kido. "Self-Injury (Bankai): The acid produced by Minazuki can reduce Unohana herself to a skeleton as well upon contact, though this is mitigated by her usage of Kaidō to immediately and continually heal herself." - Chapter 526.
"When one heals with regular healing kidō, they perform Reiatsu restoration first. By doing so, one can attempt to recover the physical body using the patient's restored Reiatsu and the healer's external Reiatsu. Therefore, restoring the Reiatsu when the physical body is in a fully healed state is no trouble at all." - Chapter 382. It's give and take. If anything they both had infinite reiatsu during this entire battle So Unohana was just surpassed by Kenpachi after enough of his limiters were removed, which is what the chapter literally emphasizes, not me, this isn't hyperbole.
Kenpachi got to where he's at without all the hax bankai, Hogyoku and soul king bits, like the big boys have, his natural raw power and adaptability got him this far, and he's getting stronger faster, which if I'm being honest makes no sense at all, he can't be this strong for no reason. I have a theory but, we'll have to wait and see. There is so much more to his shikai and bankai, so much untapped power for him to discover. It's similar to Ichigo during the Soul Society arc when he first learned bankai, and you see how much of a difference in power he has now? Or Rukia? Byakuya? Mayuri? Like 80% of the character roster? And not all of them were talked about quite like Kenpachi in terms of power. It's a reason why he's been the 11th Kenpachi for over 200 years or so, Genryusai and Unohana knew something we do not.

Kenpachi's pretty damn powerful. He makes online people seethe and write essays about him like this one, but I digress. Kenpachi had some of the best moments in TYBW nor did his fights drag on unlike other characters. Hell, the arc would be better if fights were shorter and didn't have characters stop, therefore bringing pacing to fucking halt, and explain their abilities like idiots. Ironically, Kenpachi's mindset of "don't talk just fight" is the best approach to battle. There is nothing deep nor intelligent about Kubo's bootleg attempts at mimicing Hunter X Hunter. Kubo is at his worst when he tries to make fights as strategic as HxH and at his best when he's just drawing cool guys doing cool shit.
And as for Kenpachi's "collection of humiliations" Ichigo was literally gone from action for a huge chunk of the arc, got transformation #2049941, fired a generic energy beam, got his ass beat in record time, and his sword snapped in half. Yet he's arguably the strongest in the manga, and I'm confident that everyone would agree he could behead Mayuri instantly. Like Kenpachi, Ichigo doesn't use his powers for anything beyond hitting harder and moving faster.
And to your point about Kenpachi being humiliated in TYBW... who the fuck cares? The novel takes place *after* TYBW, so none of that matters. Kenpachi is capable of fighting on par with a character who uses shinigami, quincy, and hollow abilities with better skill than Ichigo could, so he's already capable of taking on complex fighters with his simple toolset.
This is like the one scene from Indiana Jones where Indy just shoots a guy who tried to challenge him to a sword fight. A guy who knows kung fu isn't beating a guy with a gun. A gunman would simply shoot the kungfu master. In this case, Kenpachi would be the gunman as he could just blitz characters with overly complicated movesets and be done with it. Any character with a complex moveset would be equivalent to a kungfu master as they would waste time doing flashy moves.
@@Naruxos07 Okay the Indiana Jones analogy was perfect, haha. I'm glad you get it. But all technicalities aside, Kenpachi is a very simple character in concept, people seem to see that simplicity as a weakness and it's really not, it's his strength.
I believe he is the strongest character. He should have been if he didn't seal himself as a kid after almost killing the first kenpatchi with ease. As a KID.
Imagine if he grow up normally with his true powers like any other shinigami. Imagine if he heard his shikai ( and bankai, he did it in 1 day ) as kid after killing Unohana ? He would have like 1000 years to train on his Shikai/Bankai. With training on sword style and allowing him to fight with to hands.
Zaraki is the strongest for me no matter what.
Yama is stronger but besides him and Aizen yea I could say Kenpachi is basically one of the strongest Captains
