His starting point are the fundamental laws of nature in quantum vacuum with its bubbling transient existence of virtual particles that are posited to be strings . I would like to ask him where the Laws of nature, themselves , come from , and why these particular Laws with their finely tuned peculiar parameters - to the exclusion of others - in the logical landscape, that find expression in our universe? Also, I would ask him why after 60 years of research string theorists fail to make any "falsifiable" predictions in the sense of Popper , let alone practically realistic empirical predictions , that have always been the basis of a scientific theory like relativity ,quantum mechanics, and the standard model. In my humble opinion, string theory is a mathematical framework in which already existing flavors of string theory and future ones will be tested for mathematical consistency and completeness. As regards to its being a scientific theory , the jury has been out for more than 60 years ! Unless there are some practical testable predictions soon , this beautiful mathematical framework will make its home in pure mathematics department primarily, where it will prove valuable in higher dimensional topology and its derivatives.
@@shubhampatil1601 I know myself! You can't believe in GOD unless you believe in yourself. Such materialistic science is trash unless you can't realize the spiritual science. Also I'm a graduate student in electrical engineering. So don't think I don't know such science but still feel that science is lifeless without real science. It's the science of spirituality.
@@dhimanroy1671 Dude Ashoke Sen does not say that there is any problem in believing in God. Even if his wife believes in God, I wouldnt be surprised. Why do you have to expect your views from others? He was from my school.I saw him in the ocassion of 100 year ceremony of our school Sailendra Sircar Vidyalaya.
I salute you sir....I hope that you will also get nobel prize for our country ❤️
Lol

Getting noble prize at string theory is extremely difficult. Even Witten didn't get it. If he was working during 60s he probably got a chance.
He works in string theory and high energy physics. He will never get a Nobel prize.
One of the best physicst from India....
My respect to this man
I salute you sir...
The best thing i find about string theory is its mathematics
