- i heard this song in another amv & couldn't get it outta my head. so, i took advantage of that & finally made a primarily raw amv that highlights parallels between the media used, which is style i've always wanted to do! :D i hope you enjoy! :)

3:09 as soon as the music started to rise into it's epic final, don't wanna sound it dramatic or make me look like a crybaby, i had to burst into tears because the music and the beautiful portraying of aircrafts in the movie(now in the the wind rises scene) recaptured the entire feelings and emotions i feel and express for my sheere love of military aviation and aircrafts in general. The endless beauty of an air craft's engineering and observing it performing combat and aerobatic maneuvers like a balerina performing her gracious dance in an endless loop of passion, is something extraordinary. Since ,,the wind rises'', i can't even look at an A6M2 normally without overcoming a bursting heat of emotions and tears. This movie truly represented the beautiful art of aviation in general and i can imagine that it reflected on all of us aircraft lovers, great edit lad!

OMG this is genius! 1:27 when Howl flies from the balcony just when the beat drops! and right after the scenes matching perfectly with the lyrics. Or 3:32 - such a brilliant moment and with the music it's even better! Love this edit. Thank you

Aw, why I haven’t seen this video earlier? 😀 This is such an awesome video! 😮😍🥰 Your music video effectively captures the magic and the feels these movies evoke, especially the breathtaking flight and running scenes synchronizing with the building intensity of the music, oh my God! 😲🤩 I can’t put into words, outside of the fact that this is like lightning in a bottle! ⚡️I love that you used a quote from Sophie from “Howl’s Moving Castle”, my favorite Ghibli film in the beginning (I have a bit of a crush on her, along with some of the other heroines in these films). I know I’m in for a ride when one of the most memorable lines from my favorite film is added in the intro. 😄 I also have a soft spot for Pazu and Sheeta from “Castle in The Sky”, and I love watching their friendship or loving devotion/romance for each other blossom throughout the film, and you’ve matched their scenes with the lyrics so well. 😁 I have a feeling I will be replaying this video over and over in the near future, and I have a new song to add to my playlist, thanks to you. @@contractorseal You’re welcome! ☺️ I’ve heard about parallel editing within one film, but this video is a great, powerful and creative demonstration of parallel editing of similar scenes *between* different films, especially films from the same studio or creator. The music and lyrics mesh with the scenes just so perfectly, that I’m falling in love with these films and characters all over again! 😍 That moment at 3:32, especially, was a bit chill-inducing when I watched this clip with this song for the first time, and awesomely emphasizes how Studio Ghibli is one of the greatest storytellers of all time. These films already convey raw, real emotion, but your video enhances that to a phenomenal level! If I were a film professor, I would show this video to the class in a heartbeat! I also feel like this song’s title sums up the warm feelings I have with Studio Ghibli in a nutshell: while I would like to see some other anime films and TV shows, I don’t think I’ll ever find other stories that are real with characters that feel like real people, or have the same whimsy or heart like Studio Ghibli’s films do. ❤️🎬
