If we are really diving into the realism of the show the best explanation I came across was the fact this "world" is much smaller than our own the gravity would be much less, I mean we see bender's and non-benders get launched all over the place and get back up like they just took a football hit.

Your skull is a thick solid bone evolved for one thing - protecting the most important organ in your body from harm. Not the best matchup for a poor old fist.

@@0doVo0 true and i respect her for that, however, when she said "you are not prettier than us" it just struck me as shallow. I'm not entirely sure I call her humble. I don't hate her, but if i had a crush on any girl from atla it would have to be suki, I would say i liked azula and mai more because when they talked they were sassy, Ty lee's character just didn't have it the same way.
@@0doVo0 I wouldn't have called her humble anyway, she definitely had some good qualities, she obivously cared about mai to the point where she was willing to go to jail to keep her safe, she was a complex character, but i think when they were fighting the kyoshi warriors you can see what i mean about that being more shallow or petty than sassy

Tbh, I doubt that. It'd be a cool fight, but because Aang is an airbender, I think that would give him a better edge that others. Avoid and evade is his forte after all. Still... I'd love to see the fight...

There's one thing I've always felt was a bit of a missed opportunity from this show, which is someone being able to fight Ty-Lee, Mei, and Azula even after their bending is removed via chi-blocking.
Remember, the Bending Arts are primarily techniques to better control your element, but they are also their own brand of Martial Arts. What does this mean, you may ask? It means that even if you can't use your bending, you can still fight using your Bending Arts. I think it would have been the coolest thing for, say, an Earthbender (maybe even Bumi) to get their chi blocked by Ty-Lee, say a badass line about the bending techniques, then proceed to kick all their asses without bending.
Except the fact that her attacks also cause the limb to be somewhat paralyzed as well, it's not just that the can't bend. You can see that when she fights Sokka, it doesn't matter that he's not a bender he still ends up unable to attack.
@@SSearrs Counterpoint: During their first fight with Ty-Lee in Omashu, she takes away Katara's bending but doesn't paralyze her limbs
@@casualnobody8557 I went and watched that fight and you're right, seems like Ty Lee can choose whether or not to just stop bending or to completely paralyse a limb 🤔 and then Suki faces off with her at the boiling rock and Ty Lee fails to land any proper hits on her when she knew what to expect. So yea, would have been cool to see her use a bending block move on someone who could bend then have them follow through with their fists like Suki was able to!
Really made a masterpiece, love to see this amv everyday and remember how strong she was and how she broke all the mens' heart
