Dope video, gave me some things that I had already been thinking about. I'm in the process of thinking about my lifestyle, and I've come to the conclusion to get rid of the retirement mindset and just create a lifestyle that allows me to work when I want to. I figure that if I get my magic number such like for needs and wants, like maybe 3500 is my base then whatever extra I make is for a rainy day or saved for the next month. It allows for comfort, feel free to add to this.
that really is awesome! I think creating a work lifestyle that fulfills you is the best and most sustainable thing to optimize for
@AshtonJoe I agree, I believe that we should start moving away from retirement if possible. As I think it is a bit outdated, and with the way most jobs are today. Speaking in terms of when we factor in WFH (remote), gigs, and side hustles, we can work those as much as we want/ when we want to. Those seem to be leading the way, along with content creation.
