  • There are lots of reasons why science communication is important. In this video, we highlight just three: enrichment, education, and empowerment.
    RISK BITES LITE
Risk Bites Lite videos are shorter and lighter than regular Risk Bites videos - perfect for an injection of fun thoughts when you're not in the mood for anything too heavy! We'll be piloting Risk Bites Lite videos over the next few months - if enough people watch them, they'll probably stay. In the meantime, we'll still be posting the usual whiteboard videos.
    Thanks for watching!

I'm sorry but the following comment is going to sound very very harsh, but it's intended only for improvement and not any malicious feedback.
It's ironic that this video is about science communication but it's communicated really poorly. You have subtitles down the bottoms that I'm madly trying to read why the picture is producing text that is different from the subtitle text so I have to read two sets of text simultaneously and very fast. And there's no audio text, so it's useless for people who don't read or learn by written text, and defeats the purpose of producing an audiovisual piece, it might as well just been a written paragraph.

Sorry you think that, but thanks for the feedback - we're experimenting with this format as a parallel one to the more usual whiteboard videos, and of course, if people don't like it, we'll ditch it. In this respect, all feedback is useful feedback
