My brother-in-law used to build these conservatories for a local UPVC firm. You definitely can't walk on them like that. Even the so called re-enforced ones. They had a specialist ladder for any repair work, used to push your weight down the ladder and not onto the roof. So unprofessional 🙈

Great job looks amazing. Surprised they didn't have a set off conny ladders. Don't think I would want to walk on the back of it. Probably would of put a scaffolding board across it plus it was a fair size Conny so I would of set up a small MI Tower to work faster inside and out. Like the paint brush detaling brush..

I listened to the podcast, and enjoyed this video. I have not worked on conservatories, and was surprised to see they can hold the weight of a man on the roof. Seems there's a lot of comments about that here too. I guess they must know what they're doing though.

I’m wondering how the uPVC cleaner can be allowed to go down the rain water drains when I’d imagine it’s dangerous to aquatic life amongst other things. Wouldn’t it need to be collected and disposed of. Also in the video there’s two shots of buckets being poured down rain water drains.
Not having a go, genuinely wondering if this is good practice.
