Tyrion being willing to slap Joffrey in the face for being a little sociopath with regard to Bran's fall quickly put him (Tyrion) at the top of my list of favorite characters. And Peter Dinklage plays him so well.
I was a fan of Peter Dinklage before this, but he really did great at Tyrion. Probably his best role.
I kind of stumbled onto this and I have to say, I'm loving your first time viewing of this remarkable series. I have to have more!

"Song Of Ice And Fire" is the name of the series of books. The title of the series will grow in significance as time goes on. The first book in the series was "Game Of Thrones", followed by "A Clash Of Kings", "A Storm Of Swords", "A Feast For Crows", and "A Dance With Dragons". Two more books are supposedly forthcoming, although it's been 11 years since "Dragons" was released. I, as an original book reader, have given up.
It’s worth saying that in the books Daenerys and Drogo’s consummation was a lot more consensual in terms of permission (though not in terms of age)
This part. I never understood why they chose to add unnecessary SA to the show regarding this particular pairing.

Suggestion : At the end of each episode, put up a graphic showing a running tally of who they voted as their most favorite and least favorite (e.g., Most: Tyrion - 2; Arya - 1 ; Least : Cersei - 3, etc.). And then at the end of each season, maybe show the total number of times each character was voted Most and Least Favorite for that season. It'd be interesting to see how (or if) their preferences change as the storyline progresses! 🙂

I watched this episode right after I saw younr first video of GoT. Love your eactions guys. Thank you for possting these videos.
A lot of people judge Sansa harshly because of her actions this episode. But if you look at it with the perspective of their world and situation as women, you sympathize a bit more with Sansa. The expectations for women in westeros were very strict and defined, their only duty is basically to know their place, stay pure and be ladylike enough that some lord or prince wants to marry them. Sansa is a "good girl" so that's her entire life goal. From her point of few, Arya's rebellion and ambition reflects poorly on her, and sadly in their reality it does. So her standing by and lying for Joffrey, a man/prince and her soon to be betrothed, is the right thing to do in her eyes.

Game of Thrones is a better name only because it describes the entire story more simply, while "A Song of Ice and Fire" is more cryptic and you won't even vaguely understand what it means for a VERY long time.
To be honest if ya watching a show or a movie thinking the whole time "what's it called that for" then that's on you
Game of thrones is definitely a better name for the show but definitely not for the books as asoiaf is a perfect name for the books as the show mostly avoided most of the fantastical elements
