- In fact, Europe's first and commercially usable quantum computer by IBM and Fraunhofer is located in Ehningen, Baden-Württemberg (watch from minute 00:19).
- Research in quantum applications is heavily funded in the German Southwest (watch from minute 03:23).
- @FraunhoferIAO in Stuttgart develops application-oriented algorithms for industrial use cases (watch from minute 02:05).
- The high-tech quantum start-up Q.ANT GmbH @qantgmbh1784 (watch from minute 05:26) develops novel sensors and novel computing processors. Right now, they're working on their first application - a human machine interface that gives disabled people control over their prosthetics.

"...we can potentially solve very efficiently..." Sounds as hot as fusion. Definitely a lot of hot air in that video. And for those that don't know, NISQ means Noisy Intermediate-Scale Quantum. Or if you can express your mind clearly: the era where they still have no clue how to build a functioning quantum computer.

Viel heiße Luft machen
Erstmal gar nichts, er muss sich erst so weit entwickeln, dass er "Quantum Superiority" hat. Und wenn er das kann... naja, halt mehr als derzeitige Systeme.
Ich kenne nur ein Beispiel: Er kann so ungefähr alle Verschlüsselung der Welt knacken. Das heißt, es ist sehr wichtig für uns alle, dass verantwortungsvolle Akteure die ersten sind, die das entwickeln, und die dann daran arbeiten, die Verschlüseelung "quantum ready" zu machen.
Und bestimmt kann er sonst auch Berechnungen lösen, die heute nicht lösbar sind. Welche das sind... keine Ahnung. Besseres ChatGPT oder sowas. ;-)
