Now Ponte is becoming subd master
In the late 90s I worked with Pixesl3D and NURBS modeler and it had the ability to blend between patches making it look like it was filleted including texture blends. It would be awesome if Blender would have it as SubD quickly fails when you need cuts trims blends between parts.

Hi, will you also publish a course showing the subdiv technique on a much more complex model like a robot or any type of vehicle or something like that on your own Blenderbros platform?
Yes there will be a subD course. You can see the robot on his artstation.
1:14 if you dont have DeusEx, don't just rotate the face. You need the sheer tool as that will keep the width the same.
why can't I Align (edit mode)? it doesn't show on my keybinds neither... only Pose and Object mode

hopscutter, i dont use fluent
I use a mix of SubD with BoxCutter/Hardops tools flow when making 3D meshes, in part thanks to the Blender Bros courses, but I'm a bit confused about the last month of content from both Ryuurui and Gambrell (CZcams channels and mailing list). Is Blender Bros as a company moving away from the BoxCutter kind of workflow? Thank you, and keep up the good work!
hell no, i use addons for hs regardless of topology
Why don't you use Ctrl+Shift+LKM to select an area of faces diagonally? Instead of Crtl+click+click+click+click+click? ))
Why not using tool like Rhino, Solidworks or NX for hard surface modeling? It will be even cleaner and precise than polygons
As a SubD modeler whit 20 yr exp I just cried over your waste of polygons .. do it again with half of the polygons, them with again half. etc.. exercise!
the bottom cut wont work with less topology since subd will pull the geo and deform that circular shape / topo density needs to follow the detail support
And how Latece and SubD modifiers will work with half of the polygons?
