Dizzy's idle animatino where she carefully checks if her stocking and tail ribbons are allright is unironically one of my fav animations from GG series. It's that cute counterpart to "handsome guy fixing his hair mid-combat" thing (think Cerberus from Chaos Code).
Its the idle animation version of Rock Howard flipping his hair back after moves and i love it

I'm so glad that Strive exists because it basically fixed all the problems i had with Ky and Leo's desings. Real talk Ky should have ditched the holy orders uniform ages ago and Leo looked waaay to anime even for me and I like Balzblue character desings.

Ky in drip. About fair tbh. I love Ky's Xrd design, it feels like the right amount of fantasy holy knight (which is an aesthetic I adore) while also having the Guilty Gear flair. I'm honestly sad by what his design is in Strive by comparison, where he just feels like a pretty generic pretty boy. No hate to those who like that though, it's just not what I like.
Some food for thought on the Strive design, it's a huge departure from how Ky has always looked, which is indicative of crucial character development. Dude's always had a rigid, uniform design because in one way or another he's always belonged to some kind of order or government, he's never really had a chance to express himself as his own person. Now he's not an officer or a king or anything like that, he's just a dude, and the Strive design is more loose and freeform to represent independence and freedom. He's finally escaped all the bureaucratic bullshit, good for him! Go be an anime pretty boy if it makes you happy you stupid blondie, you earned it.
Basically, I personally welcome the design because it's a sign of pretty monumental character growth, and that's always nice.
@@kaincook1275 I've heard this before and I dunno. One of his lines while doing his (heavy?) fireball is literally "For the holy order!" Like, I'm not saying he's not moving to become a more independent person, but I'm definitely getting some mixed signals here. It is a fair point though and again, I can accept the design. It is just not my personal preference and that's fine. I don't play Ky too much anyway, so it's not a big deal to me lol
