I'd love for you to make restoration videos when you restore your ponies!!
Filming the restoration process is really stressful for me. I absolutely don't enjoy it.
Toy restoration is really something I mostly want to enjoy by myself without setting up all the filming gear.

Doesn't mean I will never do a toy restoration/ cleaning video again but it is certainly nothing I enjoy to make a video about. Also it sometimes takes weeks inbetween the steps.

She didn't have her fish and she might have even been missing her fish bowl so I didn't want to bid too high on her and ended up losing the auction. Lovely to see that yours has both. Yeah, for the Precious pocket ponies without any of the plastic accessories on her body you shouldn't pay much. Well, the Sweet Pop is really in poor condition with those yellow highlighter marks. So it seems nobody wanted her and I got a for a good price.😅Thank you. Well, let's see how being a vendor at a toy show suits me 😂

I guess you mean videos on pony restoration?
I have a small playlist with my own restoration videos. One of the videos shows the treatment with Hydrogenperoxid with discolored ponies or ones that have pony cancer.

My Carebears sweatshirt is from the childrens department of H&M. I bought it this year spring (maybe in March) but it is a super small childrens size so I had to make the sleeves longer (adding the cuffs).
And the toys behind me are Snugglebumms. The big ones behind me are the mom and the dad. They light up (well mine don't anymore) and the smaller children made thouse squeeky noises when been shaken. They were produced by Playschool (later by MB toys) in the mid 80s.

There are various different opinions what to do and what not to do while retro brighting ponies. I have discovered that especially if you don't leave the salon 40 creme on for too long (multiple weeks) then it does not harm the cutie mark or the eyes at all. Sometimes red colors fade a little. But when you just leave it on for a couple of days, normally nothing happens. Some people cover eyes and symbols with tempera colors. I've never done that. Here is just the struggle to get the tempera colors off again afterwards without damaging the symbols. Some people use masking tape to cover eyes and symbols but especially with small sysmbols that is soooooo difficult and I personally had the case that the glue in the masking tape has damaged the symbol and mad it sticky when I left it on for too long so I don't do that anymore. Definitely cover the hair (I use aluminium foil) so the hair don't get bleached and also is out of the way.
I definitely check every day and if I see something happen, I remove the creme for a while.
Btw. use it on Polly Pockets is more tricky. They mostly get uneven. So you REALLY have to apply the salon 40 creme super even and make sure it doen not dry up in certain areas while others are still ok... then it will bleach super uneven. I've had that happen so often with Polly Pockets.
But good luck ^^ With ponies it is not so dangerous I think.

I will definitely cover the hair...I don't know why I didn't even think of doing that. But I'm also excited to try it out. I feel like it really makes a difference with the color of the pony. I will keep you updated on what happens lol

49:13 If the writing is sharpie you could use alcohol to remove it. I'm not sure if you would want to though since it is vintage
Marks from pens, biro, sharpies etc. are very deep in the vinyl at this point already. Alcohol or aceton only works on surface level.
For small surface dirt/ marks aceton mostly works the best.
Would you show them after you have sunfaded and fixed them? Again, great video
