A friend of mine once told me: A nice person would never have to tell you how nice they are 🙌🏽 that hit me because a narcissist ex used to say that he was a nice man all the time after I decided to run away and break up with him
“I’m defending Chris” “I’m looking out for my friend” is entirely bs. Chris is a grown ass man. He knew what he was getting into. Izzy told him what Johnie said and Chris chose her anyway. It’s so strange to have Izzy talk to Johnie the way he did at the BBQ “on behalf of Chris” meanwhile Chris is present at the party with her who Chris now has to console because Izzy upset her. So so strange. Izzy’s feelings about Chris’ choice is literally irrelevant. Once Izzy rejected Johnie, she literally had the right to do anything she wanted. It’s weird Izzy thinks he’s in a position to judge. Mind your business. Move TF on.
Your friend can choose wrong but that doesn’t absolve your duty to warn them. In any case, pretty sure those two are done. Sometimes the planting the seed allows the guy to open his eyes and start reflecting. Like in episode 9 you can see the seed his family planted about Lydia starting to germinate. Sadly, might be a little too late for him and she’ll bully him into an “I do” at the alter.
I think it’s because for Izzy this wasn’t about protecting Chris, it was about tearing Johnie down. Imo he just kept saying it’s about Chris because it’s not a good look to be actively obsessed with your other “pod chick”
Exactly. He said they’re not there to make friends when the girls were making their decisions on whod they pick based off of knowing their “friend” had liked someone. Then in the same breath says he felt like it was his duty to warn his friend (of 2 weeks) about a woman who decided to go with her next option. They’re there to make a connection. It doesn’t matter if it was their 1st, 2nd, 3rd or 13th option. That’s not his business anymore.
Johnnie should also be allowed to make human error. Miscommunication happens and it seems like she was just trying her best and made a mistake that was MILD in comparison to the errors of others (in my opinion)
I agree, and I think the way he (Izzy) confronted her at the reunion was just wrong. I personally think Stacy the girl he chose, is spoiled and entitled - I think the way she treated Izzy over the paper plates/cups was really wrong and then when he pressed her on it - she threw a pout tantrum and walked out on the porch/balcony. I see trouble on the horizon here - but maybe she'll mature and grow up. One can hope.
I felt like he misquoted her because what she said to both men wasn't a lie, she even said she made a mistake and realized who was the right choice after.
Just like Johnnie is allowed to make human error, so is Izzy. I see his point of view, and its not nice when Johnnies been running her mouth about Izzy and Stacy so of course someone would feel attacked and would want to defend/fight back hearing all that.
Probably makes him feel bigger since he’s so insecure in himself. The way he was crying about not being enough for Stacy when she was simply expressing how she feels and asking for just a little extra romance.
I think Izzy has a hard time letting things go and that skill comes with maturity. The fact that he’s still hung up on this Johnie issue plus he had to have that unnecessary convo with Lydia, it’s a pattern.

I am so glad you held Izzy accountable!! He needed to be put in his place about how they treated Johnie!! Thank you for that! Stacey saying that Johnie wasn’t worth her breath and asking her if there is something wrong with her face was so aggressive! It came across as bullying and made me look at both Izzy and Stacy completely differently! I really was rooting for them until I saw the barbecue. Disappointing for sure.
@@cheery-hexnah she did not deserve ALL of THAT. It was a lot. You can call someone out while still being a decent human being. The aggression was not warranted and it makes them look like gross people. What kind of man would talk to a woman like that, and Stacy is 100% a mean girl.

I feel like this interview would be better if done after all episodes were out. To talk more freely and ask more questions. Why do it without knowing the ending?
IDK he said he’s coming back after fully aired and we got some GREAT intel now -over an hour’s worth- and in Part 2 after the show we’ll get much more -another hour’s worth of content w/ all the stuff he’ll then be able to reveal.
Way to go Nick for calling out the “bully” in saying that everyone else feels this way too. When Stacy was telling Jonnie that she is a shitty person and everyone else thinks so too and she is confident in her feeling…..what a bully!!!!
I’m rewatching LIB Season 5. And, I noticed in Episode 2 Izzy started to implore his manipulation tactics. He wasn’t completely sure yet between Stacy and Johnni, but was starting to lean a little more toward Stacy. In the men’s lounge Chris shares how much he really cares for Johnni and something seemed to switch inside Izzy. He leaned in and pretended to be interested in Chris’ love journey. Then, Izzy meets with Johnni and tells her, “I need you to tell me that you want me.” Izzy does this knowing full well that his “friend” Chris is in love with Johnni and is more than likely planning to purpose to her. Because Johnni got the false impression that Izzy was as in to her as she was in him, sadly she ended her relationship with Chris. (Johnni had no idea that she and Chris had just been manipulated by Izzy, a maniacal insecure narcissist…in my opinion.) The breakup was devastating to Chris. Then shortly thereafter, Izzy crushes Johnni by ending their relationship. It was very difficult to see. Also, I noticed something else in episode 2 that I missed the first time I watched it. During one of the pod sessions with Stacy, Izzy verbally listed the things about her that he liked and/or wouldn’t have to worry about. The first item he mentioned that he wouldn’t have to worry about was her finances. Stacy paused for a few but didn’t respond at that time. However, you could almost see the thinking wheels moving in her head. That was a huge red flag 🚩! Clearly they talked enough at this point that he knew that Stacy was financially very comfortable. BINGO, that’s what he was looking for! Wow, I believe that Izzy is much scarier than I thought.
I noticed similar comments and actions that make me feel like something is off with Izzy. Like he’s not secure in himself or genuine. He was at times deceptive, egotistical, and weaponised emotions to avoid hard conversations. But it’s hard to know the full story and truly know someone. Stacy was smart to say no and want to wait. Is so hard to make sense of him really.
In this interview he agrees that saying "everyone thinks you're sketchy" is really harsh - then he continues to explain and reiterate several times that EXACT sentiment. In my mind that makes him less credible
And in the show when Stacy asked him what Johnnie said, he said that SHE called him and everyone sketchy when HE said it to her FIRST and she only said that in retaliation, like “no YOU are sketchy” and he totally left that out. Made it sound as if Johnnie was saying that just out of nowhere, which just got Stacy more fired up.
There was no accountability. He contradicted everything in this interview and they just let him spew crap. He told Stacy he didn't know who the lost and found items belonged to and here he said he tried to reach out to return it. He also said he doesn't hide anything and yet he shared things with Johnnie that he didn't tell Stacy. Did they not watch the episodes to call him out on his BS?!
Izzy "I did everything right, I did the experiment perfectly, and I have no regrets about how I acted or how I spoke to people. I am also the kind of guy who treats his girlfriends perfectly."
Izzy is a player through and through and i"m not mad, he will continue to get away with it because women give slack to handsome or good lookng men, that's why "Fboys" are a real thing, and FBoys ain't losing anytime soon.
even though Izzy explains how much therapy he has been doing his behaviour with johnie after he rejected her for me looks way too reactive for me. like that reaction is something that was triggered by a deeper wound. How adamant he was to grind Johnie into the ground was really uncomfortable to watch. She did make mistakes, but so did he, so I just don't understand why could he just not walk away and focus on his current relationship. Even if he had concerns for Chris, he has no right to barge into Chris' life because he thinks that he is right and both Johnie and Chris who are in the relationship together, are wrong.
@@Solotv84Izzy is in need of serious therapy, how he treated Johny was vile, especially for a man with no plates, no cups, no nightstand, no credit card
Lol Izzy calls Johnie shady but says Stacy was his 8th choice but thought johnie is shady for Chris being her 2nd? Then says Johnie didn’t know that stacy was talking to Izzy and that’s why she thought stacy was shady but yet he was transparent to the both of them but then says he never said who he was talking to? This dude is always back peddling, even when he was talking to stacy about the lost and found stuff
@@newp848 also I would like to add, I don’t think Stacey and Izzy are justified in how they handled things after the pods. It was really disgusting to watch these two adults, one being 33 and the other about to be 30 act like high schoolers and bully Johnie. They are valid to not like Johnie for what she said in the pods but Stacey wanted to act like she’s the bigger person but acted really childish when handling confrontation towards Johnie. If she had that big of an issue with what Johnie said in the pods she should’ve confronted her then instead of her and Izzy ganging up on her and also trying to tell Chris that she’s shady, they are really icky for being bullies
@@newp848 Izzy gets to be “a bit immature” while Johnnie is this conniving and manipulative woman. Izzy gets to be a hero trying to save Chris from that manipulative woman Johnnie. Izzy is no better than Johnnie, neither is Stacey. They all handled certain parts of their situation poorly and should all be held at the same level. My point still stands. If Johnnie was male, no one would bat an eye for her actions, just like you don’t seem to hold izzy at the same level as Johnnie calling izzy manipulative for going with Stacey who he admits was his 8th choice and he wouldn’t have even chosen if it weren’t for Johnnie opening up about her past relationships. Johnnie shot herself in the foot by letting Chris go too early because of sweet nothings Izzy filled her head with but izzy was smart and didn’t burn the bridge yet with Stacey after leading Johnnie on. You really want to comment on manipulation but yet have overlooked all of Izzy’s manipulations he’s made in the pods and the whole time with Stacey as well! Please rewatch the episodes because I think you’re missing my point here
@@LeannaMarie636 Do you know what the misogyny means? good lord people watch some tik tok videos and throw buzzwords around and have no idea what they mean cause they use it wrong its quite annoying for people who are actually intelligent. It bothers me that he is so hung up on Johnie going for Chris after being denied... he keeps saying "she is following a pattern" but do you think he is also feeling rejected for her jumping so soon after thinking she loved him? it is also so wild how he vividly remembers what she said...
I think his hang up might be that Johnni is talking about him like he’s a mistake she keeps making in her dating life (which he is) and not choosing /committing to guys like Chris is another mistake she makes (which she’s trying to correct). He may also be butthurt about Johnni being in a successful relationship so soon after being “in love” with him. Like did she really love me if she moved on so quickly, to the guy she sees as a better option than him?
@@ahmorgan How was she shitting on him? She was honest about her feelings at the time and then she changed her mind. It happens almost every season. Zach last season with Bliss.
@joanna0988 Zach always liked Bliss. He didn't say she's more of a "friend." I'll give her that she could have been physically attracted to him once she saw him, but he was in the friend zone. People destroyed Jarrod in season 2 for choosing Iyana after being rejected, but it's okay for Johnie to do that with Chris? Hypocrisy.
I feel like at this point in the show Nick should have interviewed Uche (I bet Nick would have some hard hitting questions for him) because Izzy still hasn’t made it to the altar and he would be able to speak more on how things played out after all the episodes air
What people need to understand is that weddings are about the bride and groom. If your loved ones get to be there great, but if they don't then truly focus on your big day. Most of my siblings couldn't make it to my wedding due to very intense reasons, but my husband and I still lived that day to the fullest knowing it's a gift to our love. And we still felt loved by our siblings, but did not allow ourselves to get distracted over that.
Well Izzy did not better his impression ! And he did not better the impression of LIB production with the food talk and Chris involvement (first time hearing)
@@nader85021 That’s an idiotic theory. If kinetic wanted to clean up his image they’d do it on the show using frankenedits. They wouldn’t do it in interviews that the vast majority of the show audience will never see or hear about.
I think it's great that you critiqued Izzy's behavior towards Johnie and how that resonated with the viewer. When I saw the episode, I was shocked at how disrespectful Izzy and Stacy were towards her. That was not a constructive, enlightening conversation for one second. In my opinion, Johnie should have shown her boundary immediately and then left if the conversation continued to stay at that level. Regardless of this constellation, everyone deserves to be treated respectfully so that they can meet as equals. For me, this confrontation said more about Izzy and Stacy than it did about Johnie.
Ugh I wanna see the unaired footage from pods with Izzy and Stacey so bad. What DID she say that pulled him to choose her after not even having a connection at the beginning? 💸💸💸
Nothing…..he assumed that Stacy was hot and that as why he chose 😂 he I think told Stacy or someone on the show once he didn’t chose Stacy just because he thought she was hot and he exposed himself with that statement because that comment was random and Stacy never said that or believed that…he came up with that on his own which means subconsciously he told on himself 😂 physiology 101 ….he told on himself . ThTs why he chose her and that’s why they don’t click deeply and that’s why they literally have nothing in common. I think Stacy chose Izzy for that reason and becaue Izzy told her what she wanted her to hear
I think conversations with Johnie were more vulnerable, them opening up about their past and the hurting parts (or at least this is how the show was cut). But he just felt uplifted and having fun with Stacy, because everything was more easier and lighter with her? What is interesting to me that we cannot see one truly deep, connecting talk between Stacy and Izzy. LIke where she shows compassion and understanding for Izzy where he comes from, and interest in his inner feelings. LIke what Izzy shared, you don't come out from such situations unscarred. Those experiences are part of him...and Stacy either doesn't understand or shows no interest. I have never seen a guy getting watery eyed so many times while interacting with their partner. Stacy was an emotional bulldozer so many times...and Izzy still kept chasing her. So, I also wonder what is really going on in him...why chase someone like Stacy who is almost impossible to reach, wanting their approval and acceptance so badly?
And then maybe he realized she’s not hot - she’s a basic white girl who draws on her eyebrows too dark, has a loud voice, and thinks the world revolves around her because she wealthy and white.
This interview comes off as so much worse now that episode 8 dropped. Absolutely NO self reflection done. Izzy and Stacy are absolute trash human beings. If you have to say over and over again that you're a good person, you're not.
Izzy is a very nervous character. I see right through him. He has A LOT of growing to do internally and adult wise. He’s looking for happiness in a partner. It’s very obvious. You could see how uncomfortable he was on the show. He’s not whole. He needs to focus on himself and become whole before he looks for love. I think he’s cool, I think he’s nice, I think his behavior was not who is he, but rather an effect of unhealed wounds he carries. Anyway, I hope Stacy said no and she finds a LEADER! She’s 33 and needs a MAN WHO IS WHOLE.
You dont like Izzy we get it, but dating after 33 ain't a lot of options as good as Izzy, if you 33 and dating you know what im saying is true, you get desperate and will be happy just to find someone who is halfway decent the dating market is trash
Think he needs to work on being more secure in himself, setting boundaries and being more honest with himself and others. If he was more secure he could owned earning less makes less and bad credit. Also maybe work on drinking and his financial stability. Hopefully he grows he has potential.
He's a player, so he deals with girls, no grown woman worth her salt would deal with Izzy, a real woman knows who he is but girls will give easy the time of day and more
Yes, he’s definitely pushed a narrative or his skewed perception and just KNOWS how she feels so he has to protect chris. He doesn’t know how she feels, he’s got it in for her for whatever reason.

Unpopular opinion- Weddings are so overrated. Save your money and stress and take a trip together. I got married at a courthouse. Just celebrated 24 years.
So true 💪 I 've never understood the hysteria with throwing money on over-paid stressful unenjoyable evening, instead of enjoying a soul - enriching trip with your partner !
Also the woman sounded too entitled and over complicated it. Just take it easy and enjoy it . You spend months planning and over worrying and dealing with silly drama for one single day. Not to mention the cost. Then the next day you wake up and realize you put so much energy into literally one day of your life instead of taking that time to think of the actual marriage and not just the wedding day.

Right and she never said she formally loved Izzy. She said once I formally she loved him as he was checking off all the same things they were looking for in a partner. Then she said she was falling in love with him 2x I never counted 4!
No, when he asked if she could ever love anyone like that again, she was evasive. I would’ve run for the hills at her response too. Not the sort of reassurance i need to propose in 10 days and marry in a month.

Please interview Uche, I’m dying to hear Nick’s questions for him
There is something very disingenuous about Izzy.
Yep
Nick , I love that you called him out on his behavior towards Johnnie 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
“Everyone thinks your sketchy”
“Everyone” is actually only Stacy.
And me. Johnnie definitely seems sketchy
I feel like this interview would be better if done after all episodes were out. To talk more freely and ask more questions. Why do it without knowing the ending?
I agree
Agreed. Terrible timing
IDK he said he’s coming back after fully aired and we got some GREAT intel now -over an hour’s worth- and in Part 2 after the show we’ll get much more -another hour’s worth of content w/ all the stuff he’ll then be able to reveal.
He knows his ending. He can speak to the journey so far.
Does he talk about stacy as being sti with her?
Literally tactical
I noticed similar comments and actions that make me feel like something is off with Izzy. Like he’s not secure in himself or genuine. He was at times deceptive, egotistical, and weaponised emotions to avoid hard conversations. But it’s hard to know the full story and truly know someone. Stacy was smart to say no and want to wait.
Is so hard to make sense of him really.
Izzy “defending” Chris is as believable as Uche “looking out” for Milton.
Izzy starts at 24:25
THANK YOU, I was looking for a time stamp.
Preciate it
True hero
In this interview he agrees that saying "everyone thinks you're sketchy" is really harsh - then he continues to explain and reiterate several times that EXACT sentiment. In my mind that makes him less credible
Exactly !
So many things like this that don’t add up.
Izzy "I did everything right, I did the experiment perfectly, and I have no regrets about how I acted or how I spoke to people. I am also the kind of guy who treats his girlfriends perfectly."
LOL 😂
He even keeps a lost and found drawer for all his gals - a perfect gentleman
Did everything right except being honest about his credit history. 😂😂
Izzy is a player through and through and i"m not mad, he will continue to get away with it because women give slack to handsome or good lookng men, that's why "Fboys" are a real thing, and FBoys ain't losing anytime soon.
What kind of good boyfriend splits the check 😂
even though Izzy explains how much therapy he has been doing his behaviour with johnie after he rejected her for me looks way too reactive for me. like that reaction is something that was triggered by a deeper wound.
I dont think Izzy did anything wrong, Johnnie needs to be held accountable for her manipulative behavior and I'm glad Izzy did!
She was shitting on Chris to Izzy
@@newp848 tell me you’re a misogynist without telling me you’re a misogynist 💀💀💀
@@kweenz600He had 3 woman as his top 3 and Johnie only had 2 guys. He's emotional over Johnie because she's not crying over him 😅
She was shitting on Chris, and after being rejected, she's suddenly into him? Nah, it's sketchy. Johnie is sketchy.
And we still felt loved by our siblings, but did not allow ourselves to get distracted over that.
the season hasn't even ended and he's already on a PR tour?? Absolutely no NDA signed this season 🤣
Nick viall is a puppet to kinetic. They wanted to clean up his image (possibly bc of possibly perfect match).
Not surprised he’s talking. He’s a jerk in my opinion.
Well Izzy did not better his impression !
And he did not better the impression of LIB production with the food talk and Chris involvement (first time hearing)
He don't have a job what else is he to do?
He realized she is rich so he chose her. Gold digger
He needs to addressed the AIRBNB rumor… lol I want to know if that place was his or an actual AIRBNB like I heard…

He posted a tiktok the other day in it , so I think he owns it
you can do long term rentals in airbnb so even if it is, he could still be living there.
Johnnie said that he had just signed a new lease, but who knows if he told her the truth. It seemed like he was planning on moving in with Stacey

You spend months planning and over worrying and dealing with silly drama for one single day. Not to mention the cost.
