"No one's happy when you're talking" is one of the most brutal lines and delivery I've ever heard from Conan. And it's perfect that it's with Burr because he's one of the few that would appreciate it, laugh at it, and expand on it like he did. I love when these two are together.
Its kinda true though that even though Bur leans left in RL he is often harder in his jokes on the left than he is on the right even though he's not easy on the right either. Actually I think he makes fun of everything regardless of left or right and thats why so many love him.
Jokes with the latter is pretty much shamming, jokes with the first is controversial and intelectual
Left and right doesn't mean anything anymore.@@Daniels656993
Conan is truly the greatest host. He lets the man speak, and when he does actually interject it’s totally cohesive with the conversation. And he’s funny. Just a great duo, I love these two together.
Took him awhile to get there though. His interviews in first few years were awful, constantly talking over guests. Thankfully he got better at it, and his segments with Burr, Norm and some others are among the best in late night history.
...that's a tragic story Bill...hilarious...
I love Conan too … except his fake laugh. I don’t find his laugh genuine most of the time. HA HA Ha HaHA!
@@aldocoffee :The Norm/Conan exchanges are the greatest!!!

Bill burr is the most consistently funny man I’ve ever seen
Legit
Cause he's the most consistently honest one still working. Brutally honest lol
Yeah, especially when in good company. He and Conan have insane chemistry. He's not as funny on something like Stephen Colbert where the host doesn't just wind him up and let him go.
Yeah he isn't even trying hard 😅
He isn’t afraid to find the uncomfortable part truth.
Bill has added 30 years to Conan’s life from laughter alone.
Conan laughs like he’s a robot like the laughing on a program the way he stops laughing like the program ended and he goes straight into reaction.
@@4DIVID7No?
Bill really got slapped by that mushroom trip, so proud and happy for the dude. Psychedelics can do that, not to everyone, but Burr really truly figured somethings out about himself.
Hearing a guy that famous talk openly about a life changing chemical experience is REALLY something unique.
I heard the story on podcasts, but each time Bill talks about it, I gain respect for him. He's becoming an elder statesman!
Buy the ticket. Take the ride.
it is definitely promising for psych issues. I just think they are great!
happened to me as well...so many things I had been battling with for years were resolved within a few hours. Changed me fundamentally as a person. It's crazy what one trip can do
Yes, psychedlics can do that for everyone. The reason it does't is because of the individuals intention.
So true! I think he is funnier than ever. The newer podcast with these two and Sona is the most hilarious thing ever, I had literal TEARS!
I love Bill as a comedian but it's also been great to see him unapologetically grow as a human being. I think its rare to see someone at his level of success in entertainment stay so genuine.
Well said
Seriously, it is so dumb to see people who think he's gotten soft, just because he's mature enough to think about things differently over the 30 years he's been doing stand-up.

There is something so much more authentic about the uncontainable laughter of ~10 or so crewmembers who are supposed to be staying quiet than that of the laughter of a whole studio audience who you know is only laughing because a sign that said "laughter" just lit up

I found it very telling when Conan very serioulsy said that it's neither of their natures to be optmistic. Not the kind of thing you would see in the regular show.
I love how Conan was about to do the outro then they just wandered off and continued with the conversation, this could literally go forever and it’ll all be gold.
Yeah, I felt they were just starting to chill and let go. Would like to hear more from them sometime 🙂
Too bad it’s only 26 minutes 😅

Coming from a fellow Irish American guy....I absolutely LOVE both of these guys. I am glad Bill has found some peace and serenity in his life.
I think the thing I love the most about Bill is that he's transparently and consistently trying to face himself; he doesn't hide behind excuses or deny responsibility for any action or thought he has.
Whether it's impressive or horrific, Bill is constantly admitting and playing around with his own nature, every rush of aggression from inconsiderate Target customers and every profound personal insight on his loneliness as a child.
He knows understanding all that and expressing it is hard, but it's also the source of all good relatable comedy: knowing and expressing who you are as clearly and without restraint as possible.

Nothing insightful about Bill submitting to the pandemic police state. Soon he will be saying how we all need to monitor our carbon footprint, or we should be penalized.
This reminds me of that one line from one of his specials, "Like 85% of you need to die."
I only watch Bill Burr interviews that are conducted by Conan. Everyone else that I've watched suuuuucks.
