Went out for a daytime catfishing trip on the River why the water is up and muddy I was using live goldfish for bait so I hope y’all enjoy the video.

Well I got a head mount but I think the chest mount is a better setup cause it’s right up on the pole yano but I’ll have to experiment with it hard to beat a chest mount

What is that white thing you are putting on your rods at the start of each video?

A peace of foam board I did put it on both for awhile cause my orange reels clicker went out but it’s fixed now and the black max reel doesn’t have a clicker it just to see the line go out when a fish grabs the bait and runs yano it’s really useful during the night especially

What rod and reel you using with line and rigging ?

There both Abu Garcias the orange pole with the ambassadeur is a Carolina rig with 40Ib mono and 30Ib liter line and the low profile Abu Garcia on the black rod is also Carolina rig with 30Ib braid and 30Ib liter line the rods I can’t remember there names of top of my head but there very stout rods i plan on switch to all hellcat rods and prolly the bigger Komodo ss reels in the future but this setup I have now does me great been using them for years

@@FirstCastAngling .... Abu Garcia Black Max bait caster ? Had one of them. Didn't know how it would work for catfish...
I have WalMart special big cat rods with Optima 80 spin caster.. Does me well but wouldn't mind getting another bait caster on a stronger rod... It seems to do well with larger catfish than expected.
