Hello Vermont! You get your tractor from Twin State Tractor? I love my DK5310SE from them! I do not have a snow pusher or a rear blade… yet! They look handy and quick!
I do find the push box and blade to be very efficient and fast. They are both 6’ I believe. Some day I would like a hydraulic rear blade I think, so I can angle from the seat. Around buildings and other tight spots it would be nice to be able to adjust the blade from the drivers seat. I use the bucket with the “edge tamers” on it in the beginning and ending of winter. I tear up my lawn less that way 🤠
I made rear V-blade running forward at higher speeds really throws the snow. Then while backing up, becomes reverse-V snowpusher. Kills two birds with one stone. Gotta love moving the snow, most fun on a tractor 😊
I prefer the snow pusher because it’s faster as you don’t have to take the time to dump. But there are also times during the winter when the bucket is the better choice. The snow pusher is simply another option to move snow but not necessary. Thanks for watching 🤠
The bucket will dig if your not careful and they are only so wide, the pushers have wings to guide the snow and the blade is curled to roll it forward. A bucket once it fills up will overflow and spill behind itself or off to the side making plowing much longer and less productive. Every tool has its job, a snow pusher… pushes snow, a bucket holds things.
@@hansombryrsig yes, very good. A snow pusher is designed to push snow. A bucket is not. You must not live in a snow belt. Time is money and wasting time with a bucket is annoying. Every tool has a job, a hammer does more than drive nails but you wouldn’t shovel snow with it. You could, but you would be better off with a shovel.
Got the same setup here in northern MN. Definitely beats the bucket
Yes it does, much faster. The bucket still has its place of course. Have a good day 🤠
Hello ! I really enjoyed your video !!!
nice job!
Snow pusher is the way to go.
Ya I think it works great 🤠
Until you've used one, you can't even begin to understand how much time you save compared to pushing with the bucket. Unbelieveable
@@cowshottv5867 for sure. It takes me 5 minutes to do my driveway (If I am not messing around).
