    I rec'd the Xyron Creative Station a month ago and it has made making cards so much easier. I just tried to install the 5" magnet cartridge and your tutorial was exactly what I needed. Thank you. It really is a snap to do it. I'm using the magnets to hold photos from a recent family vacation as holiday gifts for the grandkids. I love learning something new every day!

    I couldn't figure out how to put in the 5" cartridge--thought I had the wrong machine. Simple when you know! Thank you!

    Hey! I was wondering if you know how I can make my stickers feel like more than just paper. I just got this machine and I'm wondering if I can use a certain paper for that effect. Thanks so much!

    DId you try the laminating function yet? I"m wondering how it works laminating regular 8.5x11 papers because on the amazon review people were complaining about it. They also said the older version xyron 900 is more sturdy

      Hi! I have not tried laminating yet, when I do, I will leave a comment here. Right now I use my Minc for any laminating and it works wonders.

      I just bought this machine last week and used it to laminate playing cards to help extend their life. Worked great first time, every time.

    Would I be able to laminate a pic and then add the adhesive to the bake to make it a sticker in the same machine?

    Hey, where did you get the bundle from? I am trying to buy one of these, but I am not sure about the materials that comes with it; things I will need to make the station work.

      Thank you! It's totally worth it, I need to do a review of the 5" and 3" combo as well. :)

    My wife gets her stickers custom made online, but Iam interested in getting her one of these as a gift. You mentioned that you use a Cricut to print your sticker... is it possible to do without a Cricut, if she cuts the stickers by hand? If so what paper would you recommend for use with a regular printer? Sorry for the weird question, I dont know much about this stuff and want it to be a surprise.

      Yes she can turn regular prints to stickers using any type of paper that can be printed by her printer. The great great thing about this is there are different refills so even if she choose to use regular copy paper there a refill that is laminate at the top and permanent adhesive at the bottom... I love mines, I use the same refill to make labels with regular copy paper.

    Hello, can this machine be used for 3” cartridges as well or only 9” and 5” ?

    • @GabwithGaby
      @GabwithGaby  Před 6 lety +1

      Life With JCo hello! This one can only be used with the 9” and 5”, but I have a smaller one that uses 5” and 3”, it looks exactly like this, but it’s a little smaller.

    • @GabwithGaby
      @GabwithGaby  Před 6 lety

      Angie Grimes no, the magnetic roll had the laminate built in.

    Too bad so much of the magnet sheet goes to waist.

      Yes, I usually try to put as many things through as I can to avoid that. :)

      secsquirrel1 yes they do! There is a standalone 5" machine and also another combo machine like this one that takes 5" and 3" refills.
