Thank you. I love it that you put those tiny hearts through positioning them to prevent waste. I'll be embellishing my Christmas cards with some of your ideas. ♥😄
I have two of these also. One was mine and someone bought one for my daughter when she was younger. I honestly forgot about using it but thanks to this video I will be getting it out and putting it to some good use. Thank you for sharing!
I have all the different size Xyron's and love them all...but the little one is my favorite for doing things the others can't do. The other old one I showed was my daughter's that we picked up at a yard sale...LOL Have fun with yours :) Hugs...Janie
Awesome Janie! Thanks for sharing. It had never dawned on me about the gap in the 2.5” machine and losing little pieces. Thanks for preventing me some future frustration. Lol.
Yes there were times before I got that where things seemed to tip over that edge.....made me nervous....but this one I can put in the tiniest things with no worries. Glad this was helpful :) Hugs...Janie
Sooo, in other words I "need" this little xyron. LOL I have a bigger one, but a little one on my desk might actually inspire me use it more often... Another great video! Thanks for sharing, Janie.
Hi Misty! Yes....you "need" this little Xyron! I have 4 different size Xyrons and they each have a different use for me. And the little 1.5" can definitely do things that the bigger ones really can't. Besides what I showed in the video, just think about other little things you need it for so you aren't wasting the adhesive in the bigger ones...hee hee hee :) Hugs...Janie (Oh and thanks for being so supportive....I love your comments and am glad you are finding videos you like)
Thank you so much for sharing this Xyron 150. It's great because it's probably all that I'll need. I love working in tiny spaces. I don't think I'd use any of the larger machines enough to justify the purchase. BTW, you have such a cheery, happy voice and a lovely smile.
Thank you so much for watching and for your very sweet comment.....you made my day. I'm glad this video was helpful for you. I use my little Xyron more than I use my larger ones and it's so handy to have right on my craft table :) Hugs...Janie
Thank you for this video and the eyeball suggestion. LOL Talk about misery and time trying to get those eyeballs on the hand way. Love the ribbon tip too.
I have all sizes of Xyron and love them all too. They all have things they are best for and this little one is the only one that TINY things can go through without any problem. I love it!!! :) Hugs...Janie
I love my Xyron X. I use a small ball stylus to go around whatever I’m putting through the X. It helps to define the edge and I don’t have that stringy adhesive. Thanks for showing what a useful tool it is.
Awesome little things aren't they! I love mine and so many times just have little things and don't want to get out the bigger one. This one just sets on my craft table all the time :) Hugs...Janie
Thank you for watching....I'm glad it was helpful. What makes the 1.5" easy for these things is that your ribbon, lace, or tiny bits just fall down into it and don't have to be pushed into it or get lost in the gap that the bigger sizes have. It's great and you can put several pieces of ribbon side by side so you don't waste any space. Enjoy :) Hugs...Janie
I know....me too....my little one sits on my craft table and gets used most even though I have 4 different sizes of Xyrons. Thank you so much for watching and subscribing! I hope you find more of my videos of interest to you :) Hugs...Janie
P.S.....if you're a crafter and new to my channel I hope you take the time to check it out. Also if you look in my Playslists you will find one with all of my Tuesday 2 Minute Tips & Tricks that might be helpful for you as well. Thanks for stopping by :) Hugs....Janie
I believe you can get Permanent and Repositionable refills for the Xyron machines. Be sure to get which ever one you need for your projects. Also I have a special glue eraser from silhouette for removing any of the excess glue but have seen were you can crinkle up the sticky left over paper and dab it on your project to remove the excess glue. I have the small one and a larger one and love them both.
Yes you are correct....you can get permanent or repositionable. I have 4 different size Xyron machines and have been using them for years. I also have an adhesive eraser (not by silhouette) that works to remove a variety of adhesives. This video is not a tutorial on Xyron machines, it is just to demonstrate some fun things you can do with the small one.....but thank you for all of your advice anyway :) Hugs...Janie
Oh my goodness! I sure could've used that machine last night (that I know I have somewhere and can't find since the move)! Thanks for posting this, Janie! And I'll be looking out for the hop! Big hugs!
I really like the idea of using it with ribbon. I have the small X-shaped Xyron also, the only difference, mine is green. :) Thanks for the great tips!! ♥
Thank you so much for watching.....I'm glad you like this info. If you haven't watched my Tuesday 2 Minute Tips & Tricks you might check them out too....I think you will like them :) Hugs...Janie
Thank you! I have not tried things like buttons or resin things, but I just now tried a button to answer your question and the button wouldn't go through. Maybe a thinner button would work, but honestly I don't think it will work. It was made to make stickers with paper, but if things aren't too big and are flexible they should work 😊 Thanks for stopping by. Hugs....Janie
Sorry but I don't believe that is possible. The backing is the adhesive so no matter how you seperate it whatever you have on there will stick to the adhesive backing. The clear plastic is not adhesive and will not stick to it. Thank you 😊💗🤗 Hugs....Janie
Sweetie I'm not sure where you got the idea that this is for hard things....I have actually never put a hard thing through mine. In my video (I just watched it again to see what you were talking about) I used cardstock which isn't hard, and ribbon and lace which aren't hard. So yes you can absolutely print out images to use with this. As the title says, this is a sticker maker, so you can create stickers with printed images, or pre-printed images, or die cuts (like I used), or many things.....as long as they fit through. I think you would have fun with it. Thanks for stopping by 😊 Hugs....Janie
Hi, Janie! I really enjoyed your video. You explained everything very well and at a perfect pace. I went through your comments, but did not find an answer to a question I have...it seems that there is some "waste" when using tiny decals for personal use. Can I lift the plastic clear sheet, place another little decal in an empty spot, recover with the plastic and just burnish with a bone folder, credit card, etc? Thanks in advance, you made me want to buy one! Just waiting on your reply!
Melissa thank you so much for your sweet comment and question. No, once you lift the clear covering there is no longer any adhesive left to reuse. My suggestion is to put several things through and keep them close together. I don't like the waste either so I do my best utilize the space. That is the advantage of this little Xyron.....not wasting what you would if you were using one of the bigger machines for small items. I have 4 different size Xyron machines so I can use the one that best fits what I am wanting to put through it. But this little one is perfect for desk top use for those small die cuts or other small items. I think you will love it :) Hugs...Janie
Great demonstration Janie however I had a problem. When I went to use the little Xyron the roll of clear plastic and sticker paper had completely separated and it was unusable even though it was kept in a cool cupboardl Advice would be appreciated because I want to use it especially for words diecuts.
Janice to be completely honest I'm not even sure how that is possible. Maybe you were at the end of the roll or maybe it was installed incorrectly? I have never had that happen with any of my Xyrons and have been using them for years. I took a good look at this Xyron (the one in the video) and couldn't see how it would be at all possible for the clear plastic protective layer to seperate from the sticky layer......my mind is boggled over this. However......I have had it "seperate" at the end of the roll when there is no more sticky paper left and just a little of the clear protective layer.....that's pretty much how you know you are at the end of the roll. So that is the only thing I can even imagine happened. As for a place to keep it.....I don't keep it anywhere special. I have this small one sitting on my craft table and my larger ones sitting a shelf in my craft room. I don't know what your weather is like or the temperature you keep your house but I doubt seriously it would be drastic enough to effect it. Sorry I don't really have a definitive answer for you. Good luck :) Hugs....Janie
Thank you so much for watching. I feel it is quite strong. I guess it might depend on the glitter cardstock......some are cheap and the glitter comes off so it's difficult for things to stick well unless you use a wet glue. Every situation is different but I personally have never had a problem with this sticking to anything :) Hugs....Janie
And Ewe can put things on the other side first then add glitter and then put it right side up and ewe have a glittered say heart and it is a sticker too
Yes that is correct.....in fact I have another video coming this weekend on ways to use Deco Foil and using the Xryon is one of them.....you should watch it :) Hugs...Janie
Thank you, got one with no instructions. So this was great.
Glad it helped! It's an awesome little thing....perfect for crafting. I think you will have fun with it and find all kinds of uses 😊 Hugs....Janie
Thank you. I love it that you put those tiny hearts through positioning them to prevent waste. I'll be embellishing my Christmas cards with some of your ideas. ♥😄

@@janiethecraftprincess I got it for Christmas and had no idea what to do with it.LOL Now, it will finally get used. : )
Great video! I love my sticker maker and use it for die cut wording. ❤

Your braids are super cute. I have a Xyron thingy like the one you demonstrated and I haven't used it yet. You've inspired me to play with it.
LOL Thank you so much! I'm happy I have inspired you to use your little Xyron.....I think you will love it :) Hugs...Janie

I have the 1.5" and wasn't aware lace/ribbon could be used . . thanks for the share . .I will be using lace and have them on file . . . NY-USA

I love my little Xyron X. I use it a lot for little things. I hardly ever use my big one. New subscriber, too!

When you're using it for lace or ribbon, can you peel the back off first, place it on the card, then peel off the clear plastic?
Sorry but I don't believe that is possible. The backing is the adhesive so no matter how you seperate it whatever you have on there will stick to the adhesive backing. The clear plastic is not adhesive and will not stick to it. Thank you 😊💗🤗 Hugs....Janie

Could you use a regular image printed out to make a sticker? Or only hard things?
