I find it more efficient if you just follow the same pattern over and over. That way you can start to expect how many animals will respawn in the zones and it almost becomes muscle memory. Good luck and thanks for the ask!
Yeah, I accidentally shot a few does and now my runs have been weird, but I have yet to check the peninsula coast as I like to call it for a while now. Also do you pick up every single animal even if its a bad shot and it takes forever to track?

Also I only use a few parts of the map, not the whole fallow home range, so I usually shoot 2s but maybe I don't have enough, I need to check my map 😂
I try very hard to pick them all up but on occasion I get lazy about it, and let maybe 1 or 2 go. I'd say at least 95% I harvest or better.
