- Hello and welcome back to theHunter: Call of the Wild! In today's episode, Pablo and I head over to Silver Ridge Peaks. We set out on the hunt for a legacy diamond bison because once the new update comes out, they're getting truRAC. Even though Pablo was a bit broken, we still managed to hunt a crazy amount of bison, turkey, and pronghorn.
Will these mountains give us our first diamond bison, or will we head home empty handed? Keep watching to find out!

In Silver Ridge, fast traveling to some outposts brokes the dogs. Specially in multiplayer but it happens in singleplayer too.
That was the biggest animal I saw on this game btw, nice job.

Just a couple of tips for hunting bison.
Bison are really slow and really stupid. Just run after them.
.300 regent magnum is a good rifle for hunting bison. Packs a pretty good punch with soft points.
Scope spotting + health readout for spotting is extremely helpful, and that goes for every animal.

with the disturbed veg. when you click it to get the fur type, open your map, on the right hand side it'll give you info depending on your perks, mine gives me type of animal, fur type, weight and sex of the animal when i open the map.

I decided to buy this game yesterday after watching you & Fooster play but ive been plagued with horrible lag whenever i shoot...😝
Gotta make sure to kill things on my first shot or they tend to get away lol
Yeah whenever I get lag it's from shooting or reloading
I tore apart and cleaned my laptop the other day which helped, but there's a few settings that don't affect the look of the game much that you can drop down to like medium
@@Rooster_Gaming I did the same thing recently trying to get Jedi Survivor to run with less performance issues, I’ve got everything on medium except furs I think.. I’ve seen that’s it’s a more recent problem with the game is that true? 😆
@@xXNum1SniperXx I'm not sure if it's a recent issue. I don't there's been anything new added to the game lately

i REMEMBER WHEN YOU either got head to head with bison buffalo or you failed it was insane crawling between water buffalo making sure to stay 15m away from the closest get right on the map marker you placed stand up and prey to god you saw him before he saw you then pop his brain snap. or snap his spine the game was way more fun back then every shot on a diamond was a panic attack the thrill if you fail you be insane gutted but the next one youll try harder its boring now you just pop shot the trees and probably get the diamond i know ive done it multiple times but best time was 2019 rose elk i did shoot the bush no idea what i was shooting at just it had huge rack multiple huge racks and i just started blasting the first one i claimed was a diamond and then game crash i was so gutted absolutely certain another one was bigger and elk are a double diamond spawner alot, ill never know now but atleast got one back then i was new all those diamonds cant be beaten now especially with this easy mode BS. Sure you can challenge yourself only hunt at night no scope whatever but why? when a 9yr old can brag the same trophy, Its nothing like it was in the first years 2020 peak imo new content old rules.
lol I started playing on silver ridge peaks and ozzii manages to get stuck in the trees/bushes aswell. just go on their side and shove em out, good luck!

I’ve had so many issues with my game over the past couple of days with severe lag out of no where and then crashes. Never had this problem before until now
Yup it came out of nowhere for me. I stripped apart my laptop and cleaned it and still crazy lag issues
@@Rooster_Gaming it was so depressing for me, I was about to claim my very first diamond on my account 😭 it only started happened a week ago and now every time I get on 9/10 it freezes and then crashes
@@Rooster_Gaming i normally just have to cross my fingers and hope it doesn’t do it again but it definitely sometimes deters me from booting the game again

Btw, I tore my laptop apart and cleaned it really well, and it seems to have solved some of the problems. I also restarted it about 5 times and I think something updated and that helped too.

kinda. I typically post at least one thing daily. I usually do videos on monday, wednesday, and saturday. And post a short nearly every day. I wish I could post more but it takes me around 12 hours in total to edit a video + make the thumbnail

I don't remember what dlc some of my guns are from. I know the most recent one has the Malmer 7mm which is my favorite
