People have hated and judged me wrongly. It's very sad. 8:53 you wouldn't believe how it feels inside when in early, mid marriage, having a very very important dentist appoint, calling your husband to tell him where you are, then...all of a sudden, hearing him start screaming at you in the phone, OH HELL NO, WE CANNOT AFFORD YOU to have the appointment! Turn around and leave! So embarrassing at such a young age..not too long afterward this one after another set off losing three teeth in all. Wasn't raised by this kind of love in my family life growing up. I always felt he could've at least made a phone call inside their office to try to work it out but choose to continue to scream at me. Leave! TURN AROUND!
I am taking good care of him. He's sick now. Daughter going downward by influence of in laws and that scares me more than anything. The most gut wrenching disrespectful idea someone put in her head, a label so vile and wrong, my heart is so broken. Someone put it that thought in her head ...tell David McDonald to stay away from our kids if you talk to him. He's not a good influence on them I care for our young adult kids minds. Momma still wants her TV back David!
    Thank you

4:15 - agree 💯.... except in the case of changing one's Neuroplasticity (?) (I ask you).
    10:36 - yes. Love-it.
11:07 - are we talking about being brutally honest with oneself.

Any suggestions to manage or push through the fight, flight, freeze response? Any type of confrontation feels like conflict to me, especially if I'm the one initiating the conversation. What can I do to better enable myself to communicate clearly and calmly even though inside I'm freaking out (regardless of how the other person may respond)?

That's very good advice. Thanks very much. It would be a lot easier to listen to if the sound was better. It's such a shame because you give very good explanations.
