What kind of safety if there's no walls. Most rich people have enemies, stalkers and competitors that look for ways to remove us from the earth. How can you close the door in case of an intruder or an enemy attack?
@@void9837 - The problem with walls is they can keep people out or lock you in with that same intruder once they are over the wall. Your siege mentality is typical of an American, always afraid.
Such a beautiful house that definately shows not only Fire and Water it shows the other 5 elements Fire.. Water.. Nature all around.. Earth elements.. Light of the spacious and open design.. Darkness of the stone.. and the full Spirit of design :) such a captivating place
Desert Cactus 18 hole golf Green Pools Fountains Mountains Water galore! Let the Arizona-Sonora desert landscape come alive! 10 million usd residence With nice open baths with rain showers
Easy access for snakes, scorpions, lizards etc. gorgeous place but I’d be a nervous wreck living there. Had a copperhead in my backyard N. C. Pool…that was enough for me!
Incredible design and layout. Personally, I would find a large library and study area would be amazing. The setup of the house is geared towards parties and visitors. I would eliminate half of the water features and replace it with gardens and large rocks.
I would have thought that displaying one's collection of alcohol is a little outdated. It also seems to me to be a bit vulgar and pretentious. The house, however, is really interesting.

I have to admit I don't understand houses located in hot regions with ponds and pools exposed to evaporation, when the resource is missing so much, specifically in the area. Such a waste. IMO, it removes all the beauty of the house, reducing it to the expression of selfishness.
And there are too many hard angles, without countervailing curves to soften the interior space and make it feel "welcoming". The kitchen area is the prime offender. There is nothing about it that says "Come sit down. Let's have a cup of coffee and talk!". Instead, it's a cold and 'dead' area, when any kitchen, in any house, should be its 'heart and soul' - its nutritional center. Overall, the house packs a visual wallop, but its particulars leave a lot to be desired.
@@BillWoodillustrator and there are homes that have been built that utilize water for cooling and as a brown water system for watering plants but this house is not that. The water needs to move. This is a waste of resources.
I can’t enjoy the rest of it, because the selfishness of these very wealthy people thinking that in a place with no water, not enough water for the population, they can afford to let the water evaporate into the air every day, doing nothing except pleasing them aesthetically. and their architects comment? All this “connection to the earth” rhetoric, and yet. Poor earth.
The entry walkway is the most brainless things I’ve ever seen - An impractical “architectural” “feature.” What about children, elderly, moving things in and out of the house? What are they teaching in architecture and design schools now?
The architecture and detailing is pretty good -- but man .... the interior design and furniture is god awful. Most American clients are usually 100 years behind the times when it comes to furniture, but at least here, I would have expected the architect to not "allow" this travesty to mess up his design. It's really bad.
As an Interior Designer, I rate the concept , design and execution of this house as one of my all time favourites . 1000% perfection. 👏👏👏👏👏👏❤❤❤❤
I'm glad you liked it. Each house with a detail that can serve as inspiration, that's the purpose👌
Agreed 👍

Quite blown away by the detail and thought that has gone into the design of this home, both inside out, modern and contemporary but warm and inviting.
A stunning property!! 😍 I love how it perfectly compliments the environment. Just exquisite! 🙌🏽

such a captivating place
Perfect!😉
This is so beautiful. I want a home like this one day. 😊
I don't tend to be a fan of ultra modern homes. They tend to feel cold and office-like.
But this place is INCREDIBLY elegant!
Exactly, and I think the main differentiator is this entrance pathway🚶♂️✨
great!!!
Whow! i have been blown over by this magnificent home, absolutely amazing

Stunning.
It looks so free & warm🥺
This is cutting edge, beautiful ❤
This is a nice house. It does have the feeling of a museum or business location but overall it’s nice
Indeed, the inclusion of art pieces creates a contemplative effect; the house goes beyond its basic function! 🎨
Absolutely Amazing, I Love it...
beautiful houses, thank for sharing.
Love it ❤️🙏House
Love it gave me the bighorn as well
Easy access for snakes, scorpions, lizards etc. gorgeous place but I’d be a nervous wreck living there. Had a copperhead in my backyard N. C. Pool…that was enough for me!
I was thinking the same thing; coyotes, pumas,.tarantulas, scorpions, snakes, lizards, etc. You couldn't have pets or small children out there
Aang’s house is insane
Beautiful ❤
Beautiful design.. still trying 5G figure the direction it faces…I’m spoiled with the Vintage golf course over the Big Horn and clubhouse…

It's an interesting idea, it would create a front courtyard. Nice! 🌳
wow it's like bugs, insects and even worse things that slither and scuttle don't even exist in that climate/terrain or air..
Great how can I get it
Expose wine it's a little conventional, I would have preferred a beautiful library
It would indeed look very good; it's a great option as well!👍
I would have thought that displaying one's collection of alcohol is a little outdated. It also seems to me to be a bit vulgar and pretentious. The house, however, is really interesting.
Q. Why would you go through all of this effort without an asking price ? or , Purchase Price .
Price??

ok
A Arquitetura foi bem trabalhada, porém tem alguns espaços de deveria ser mais funcional !
It's true, the finishes of this house were done with excellence!👌
Where is this located ?
is located in Palm Desert, California
And 💰?
Din din god or matrix
Its nice but I don't see a backyard where my kid can play soccer. So I'll have to pass

Did you ever think that it acts as a cooling mechanism as well?

They didn't build it to satisfy such refined examination. Flaunt it if you got it and call your friends to show it off, yeah baby!!!!
Completely lacking the female character. I don’t think a woman was involved in the decision making process. Correct me if I’m wrong

Nice. But palm desert is a toilet bowl of dirt.

Oh yeah, all that wasted water in ponds around the house.🙄
Horrible kitchen.
