Take a look at some of the best shots from the 2021 US Open Pool Championship in Atlantic City - which one is your favourite? #USOpenPool #NineBall #Pool #MatchroomPool
Having Carlo as a US Open Pool Champion is a slap to the faces of De Luna and Gomez. Carlo for sure is top player in the Philippines and for sure one of the best in the world.
Can we just appreciate the textbook shot from Kelly at 14:09 how the cue ball kept the direction after hitting 2 balls at 45 degrees almost at the same time? Use "." and "," for frame by frame replay.
Lot of these shots are my fav to do, other than the kicks that make it (and jump shots). For instance @37:28 the back bank is a necessary shot for one pocket. I make it with at least 60% accuracy
Can someone explain how the shot from Blyler was legal at 1:50? I would debate it's illegal because the cue ball had back spin it should return back as soon as it hit the yellow but it went forward, because the cue was still touching the cue ball when the cue ball and the yellow hit each other. Or is it legal because it might not have been a double touch, but just the amount of time the cue was touching the white ball was long enough that the small distance was to short therefore the cue ball was pushed forward?
I'm pretty sure that is a foul unless the cue ball was frozen to the object ball. In this video they say nothing as to if it was or was not frozen tho. So we have to assume the balls were frozen and it was a good hit
I think it should be call pocket or switch to 10ball especially as good as these guys are some of these are luck shots also alternate break honestly I think would help grow the game .... pool is only sport you can lose a match and never get out of your seat
20:32. Reminded of Jeffrey De Luna's power break back in the day. Much more speed and power but with some control of it just like the Trump's debut in US Open 2021.
I agree, it was definitely a foul. The CB moving forward in that situation should have been a dead giveaway. No excuse - I did learn my lesson back then and tried to learn from it.
No foul!!!! Look up the rules for frozen balls. There is no physical way possible for the cue not to go forward on that shot. Referee was standing right beside him.
And Efren Reyes will NEVER be (or measure to) the new masters of today. That's like comparing Jordan and LeBron. Jordan played when there were less good players, and Efren was the same. And when there were no internet where players could actually learn and watch to become better (same way Efren learned was by watching others) like today . Efren was good for his time, but that's it
Maybe they're just trying to help him out, he got instant hate because of his name, even though #1. He's not related #2. Insane that it would even matter if he had been. Crazy times.

No doubt

I need some of those glasses like that
I love that it goes from Shaw commenting on a Judd Trump game to Shaw vs Judd
Love Yapp, he changed his stroke though. He used to take a long pause at the back side of his stroke, he changed it to the norm.

BALI INDONESIA💯🇮🇩🇮🇩🇮🇩🇮🇩
00:55 “oohhh, ohh Judd😫” 😅
Carlo Biado deserved it, I love this guy

same thought. is should be a foul coz it already pushed the cue for a double contact.
Kelly Fisher's was pretty close. What are the rules on a simultaneous hit, anyone know?
If the referee can't determine which he hit first, then it's not a foul. Innocent until proven guilty
ماشاء الله على الهندي
Keren keren
nice

start the top 10s again

If you look at some of these shots really closely, some of these shots should have been called a foul.
Hello
Blurry though
That second match was definitely a foul even though he jacked up the cue. How did that pass by a professional referee
I agree, it was definitely a foul. The CB moving forward in that situation should have been a dead giveaway. No excuse - I did learn my lesson back then and tried to learn from it.
Cue ball went forward at least a few inches of the ghost ball position, absolutely a foul regardless of the cueing angle.

This must be a new rule? This use to all ways be a foul in professional pool
Ok ok. So I see. Now if the Balls were frozen. Then it's not a foul.
The student has now become the master but he will never be no Efren Reyes .

Efren was good for his time, but that's it
Go ask Efren about dodging Jose Parica in the Philippines before Efren was big. Parica was spotting Efren lol.
No wise student who took lessons would ever think he'll be a mirror image of his teacher, foolish one.
1:50 LMAO THATS A FUCKING PUSH
The J Trump exhibition.
