My brother and I waited 3 months in line to rent it from the video store. That sounds crazy, but in a small town in Tennessee, they had one copy of the game rental and hundreds of customers, there was a waiting list. And a one dollar allowance for a fucking 40 dollar game, nope you wait for the rental son!
Rofl, I think about that to this day when I get impatient about a blu ray or streaming release and laugh.
On a similar note. I lived the era when NES graphics were the best available, and I remember those days whenever I have a complain abour *Graphics* in a modern game, it just doesn't affect me

It's crazy to think that certain franchises started on NES like Final Fantasy and.....I guess Metal gear even tho it was on MSX 2 first. Look at them now, Final Fantasy now on PS4, Switch and Xbox, and with a bigger world, more characters and with the remake of 7 underway. And Metal Gear.....................uuuuhhhhh......we haven't really heard anything about the series nowadays.
Yo Charlie wanna play the MSX version of Metal Gear, get the PS3 version of Metal Gear Solid 3 and you can unlock that game and its sequel.
