Q: What about Water Dumples, Dwarf Red/Orange Bulborbs, Dwarf Bulbears, etc.
A: They cannot eat bombs. They just knock the Pikmin back.
Q: What about the other bosses that eat Pikmin, like the Mireclops and the Phosbat
A: There are no Bomb Rocks in the Garden of Hope and Bomb Rocks are not available by the time you get to the Phosbat.
Q: What about [insert other enemy here]
A: I literally have tested every enemy in the game, they either don't have mouths/knock back the pikmin when they attempt to eat Pikmin.

I like that instead of eating the pikmin as well, it only eats the rock and just knocks the pikmin back.

QOL improvement because they would still eat the pikmin in 1, but it makes them all look stupid
@@CassiusStelar the pikmin are innocent and can't be "stupid", the problem is that this is a KIDS game. We can't have psycho kids sacrificing life so that they grow up to do that to other humans.

The creature animation in this game is unrivaled.
10 years after this game's release, and I did NOT know an enemy that eats a bomb-rock carrier will ONLY eat the bomb-rock and not the Pikmin itself.
Its interesting how some of the enemies only eat the rock but not both of them
The SpringTrombone it because the pikmin run from the rock at the last minute causing the enemy to eat the Rock in confusion

@@emmamora7 I think, from what I remember, this was fixed in the Deluxe version. Where the pikmin will simply be spat back out before the candypop finally dies.
I was kind of expecting the pyroclasmic slooch to just detonate, slime launched everywhere. But thats a little too voilent for a pikmin game i guess
Wow, it was that easy the entire time? I always tried throwing them at enemies. Not a single enemy ate it.
Dewberry. Probably don’t care anymore since it’s been 2 years but shaggy and baldy long legs do take damage when bombed at their feet. Shaggy’s loose all the hair on that leg and take some damage while baldy’s take damage, 1/10 of their HP.

Using a bomb rock on a Candypop Bud just felt cruel. And the game knew, it punished the player by killing a Pikmin, too.

It's weird that most of these enemies when they eat the bomb you don't hear the explosion...
I think its because most of the soumd gets muffled from the explosion happening inside them?

Did you know you CAN get many bomb rocks in a single hole? Just whistle one pikmin after the bomb rock appears, then throw another pikmin into a hole, until it no longer produce more bomb rocks.

Have you tried hacking to get the mireclop and phosbat to eat a bomb rock?
I have not, as I do not know how to even go about doing that... However I have asked a friend who can to try... Don't know what happened to that.

Nope, bulbears will always die if they eat a bomb rock. You may be confusing this with Pikmin 1 or 2, or maybe you might be thinking of blowing up rocks near a bulbear (it does more damage when eaten)

What if a bomb rock enter a onion:possibly create a Bomb Rock Pikmin I think.
Any pikmin carrying bomb rocks when entering the onion will drop the bomb rock and it won't denoate.
