At first, there is Light. Faint song and hum to signify it is there.
Second, there is Darkness. Constant drum to silence the grace, to convince us of another path-
Then there is both. Light cuts through the shade with a bolstering song- Darkness' drums coming with the choir of Light.
An ancient symphony, assimilated at last.
This will be incredibly interesting.
The secondary layers are also interesting; yes, there's the light/darkness contrast of ethereal vocals and drums, but also strings and heavy brass, possibly representing the awoken and cabal? And then, the bright brass at around 2:15... that's us, the Guardian, playing the heroic theme! Or is it? After the familiar motif, it evolves to something new; the Cloudstriders, perhaps?
Also notable is the way that the song ends. The secondary layers fade out, giving the vocals a moment to shine before also fading away, and then the only thing left is the steady march of the drums. That sure sounds like thematic foreshadowing to me.

I'm going to miss the Witch Queen title theme, but damn this one is so good.
The Witch Queen one honestly got really annoying for me. I got really bored of the same 4 notes being repeated, but that's probably because of my funky music brain.
Me too. The screen itself and the music of the Witch Queen is so good. Sad that it's going away with Lightfall.

Witch queen was quite meh together with the Shadowkeep theme. Beyond light absolutely fucked though

The beginning It brings me back to the OG Assassins creed and honestly I love it

If you listen carefully there's both the light and dark theme. Showing the main theme of the expansion.

I’m horrified to play this on Tuesday.
If the traveler does end up dying in the end, I will probably cry. This was the first real video game I had ever played. I was five when I first played Destiny 1 back in year 1. To come all this way just for it to end will sadden my soul. I don’t think there has ever been a game I have been so closely attached to like Destiny. In conclusion, I just hope once this is all over, we can go back to just sitting in the happy little tower with not a single care in the world.

destiny was the first big online game i played at first i thought it was still rehash like all futuristic games and a friend made me try the demo on the PlayStation 3 and frankly even if we had that earth and 7 levels available it has become my favorite game since I was 14 and I can't tell myself that the great war is finally here

No Light Subclasses, and no Ghosts. This also means no revives ever again.

Imo, almost sounds similar to the Cabal Stomp, which makes sense as the entire campaign is about Calus and him becoming a Disciple for the Witness.

The sound we hear at the end of every trailer when they show the bundle and the name art has never sounded like this, this is a first and sounded alot like a female or god/ beautiful voice before they had it like an

PlayStation 5 players were capable of preloading early, with a bug, at the cost of not being able to log in unless they reinstall or just wait for Lightfall’s release. So, all they really got was the title splash.

I think the music would have been cooler if it had the main themes from all of the expansions and put them all into one song as a way of showing how the entire story has led to this point.
