I have just finished a Prayer Bible for my Aunt & Uncle. They are elderly and my Uncle is very ill, requiring hospital visits about twice a month now. My Prayer Bible only has a few topics because I wanted very specific topics for their needs at this time: Healing/Health, Praying, Strength, and Courage. This Bible will give them the ability to pray without losing concentration during the stress they're coping with. Since I do scrapbooking, I also made 2 paperclip bookmarks, a large pocket, and 4 personal prayers that were typed and mounted on cardstock for them to use. Making this Prayer Bible for them has been so enjoyable and I'm grateful for your guidance and examples.
I am currently creating my own prayer bible, I've invited my daughter to do one with me, and I am now encouraged to make these and give them out as gifts. Thank you for the ideas, the scriptures, and the examples of how to create, organize, personalize, and pray using the bible. This is such a blessing.

I started doing one, but after doing anxiety and broken heart, mine started turning into a study Bible with various words I’ve been wanting to study. But I’m definitely going to add the attributes as I can’t believe I didn’t think of that. I’ve always been interested in that. I’ve usually highlighted them when I find them, but the tabs is such a great idea.

Here is a little tip to help make the pages not stick together. Dip you finger into any powder like baby powder. Tap it onto the sticking place. You don't need hardly any. Problem fixed!

In addition to using a tab punch to make custom tabs I just realized you could make your own using either a manual die cut machine or an electronic machine like Cricut or Silhouette!
I love what you wrote on loss .. my mom a beautiful Christian went to heaven last Tuesday my husband is going through serious diabetic complications . With several amputations as a result . God is faithful. I love what you said and went right with what I heard Hal Lindsay say today on his series on Revelation that God saves our tears in His bottle and even today in Israel when people are hurting they put a small flasks to their eye and save the tears. Keep me in your prayers . God has used the prayer Bible videos to be a great encouragement for me during this time. I have my moments but God always causes us to triumph and no matter We have the victory.
