I labeled the first tab of that color so I know. On subsequent tabs I may write a key word about the scripture so I can find it faster.

I’ve seen several questions on how to pick the specific verses. If you want, you can do what I did. Choose your first theme, such as “wisdom” and Google “bible verses about wisdom”. You will be able open to open a list(s) showing all Bible verses related to wisdom. Then just list the verses on a sheet of paper under that heading, such as Proverbs 3:13-18, Ephesians 5:15-17, etc. Then do the same for your next theme, such as Salvation, etc. Then you can tab your Bible themes and verses based on your list. Hope this helps you to personalize your prayer bible 😇

I’m close to having my first prayer Bible done, so excited! I used a lot of what I already have so it’s not nearly as pretty as all of yours. I think I can change out things as I get new supplies. But at least I’m close to being able to use it. Thank you so much for sharing this with all of us!

I have paper/card tabs which are a lot more fiddly as we don’t have the beautiful glittery tabs over here in Blighty 🏴 But I have mixed up the colours and it is looking great! This is such a fun creative project and is hopefully going to be huge for my prayer life. I am new to your channel also and feel so blessed to have found you. I recently stumbled across this. I believe this is answered prayer and guidance to a stranger prayer life. I have tons of supplies. I am using sticky notes and colored pencils. I am also using white Avery labels that can be cut down and colored to match any color choice. Thank you for all you do to share the gospel with us.

Thank you so much for this. I have wanted to pray scripture and thought about writing out each verse. Needless to say, I got overwhelmed and barely started. This method has been such a blessing and helped me do something I've wanted to do in a way I never thought to use.
For the verses I pray over my daughter, I've also marked to pray for her future husband. She's 8, so that will give me many years to pray for the man God will bring to her one day.

I am very inspired by this. Thank you for sharing all your experience! Would you share how you approach your prayer time using this prayer Bible? There are so many tabs, do you keep track of what they all mean in a key in the back of your Bible, perhaps?? Do you select one theme a day to pray through? Or just start at the front and flip through each tab in order? I understand the themes, and the intent - which is awesome - but I’m just trying to wrap my head around how to get going on using it.

Prayer comes so easily for most of you. Unfortunately, not for me. I know that I'm supposed to pray consistently and all day basically, but I don't know what to pray for until something happens or I need help. I was told I was an accident and I guess growing up in a house that didn't really support me and was abused, I found it hard to change.🙏. That's why in some way, I was led to watch and read Joel Osteen's books until God led me to Joyce and she is just wonderful. I love her teachings and sermons. But I'm still new to basically everything even though I have been following Joyce and Joel for over three years already.😮

I'm sorry that happened to you ..but you are not here by accident. God has created you and you are here for such a time as this. I think this Identity theme would be a great way to start praying. Just like she does, find the scripture and pray it over yourself. I struggled with prayer for a LONG time and the enemy wants you to think you can't pray. But you can. Prayer is as easy as talking to any of us. You can do it and there's a ton of us sisterita's that will pray along with you. ❤
I would recommend Pastor Jack Hibbs instead of either Joel or Joyce. He's amazing!

What bible translation is this? It reads very nice.
How do you navigate through the topics when you need them? I don’t see topics listed on the external parts of the tabs. Do you have a key of some sort or chart? I feel like I would be flipping around too much.
You choose a color you associate with a theme so blue can be for favor so all your blue tabs and high lights are blue , then pink can be verses on love ect you can create a key if that helps a lot of people pray all the blue, them all the red then all the green so people pray 1 specific theme in the morning and they spread theme’s through the day there is no wrong way you can have as many or as less as you want

I cannot open how to get started it says video not available.
I am trying to find verses that relate to coping with bullying ( as an adult ) - most are focused on turning the other cheek - but I wanted to find some that would hep comfort and console in the area of bullying. Also verses on praying for Faithfulness in a spouse or partner. any ideas appreciated. I have googled but hav enot found any suitable

Most people find themes and scripture by reading their bible, using the concordance in the back and the youversion bible app will show you scripture for different themes if you search for different themes on the search bar it’s free
