The athleticism by both of these QB's is fun to watch. When the UCLA QB hands it off and runs downfield to throw blocks idk why but it gets me fired up. Kid has a lot of heart

ucla just had to do short passes and rush ball. dtr lost this game. also refs kept usc in it with that PI miscall in 1st half ,ucla could have been up 21 pts.
that was the diference to a even matched game. Both defenses are horrible.
@@donramon9723 The refs? Come on, this is the first meaningful Pac-12 game in years where the refs weren't one of the major deciding factors. They actually let the teams play for once, something I never thought I'd see again with a Pac-12 crew. If the refs were more involved there would have been about 15 UCLA holding calls. Just be grateful the zebras finally let two Pac-12 teams play.

DTR did his thang… best qb I’ve seen at UCLA in a long time… the effort to try and be a lead blocker on those run plays is top notch… made some great throws… and kept them in the game… UCLA was just a bit outmatched… GREAT GAME!!!

He’s been heisman worthy since the beginning of the season, it’s just many pac-12 games are so late, a lot of voters haven’t seen him play this year. But in my opinion, he’s the leading candidate.
It's that western 3 hour back timezone.
Some pac 12 teams would finish either 12 or 1 am in the morning, so in that case.. that would make eastern time 9 or 10 o'clock..
But I still don't understand why majority of LSU games are at night.
He’s averaging yards 378 yards a game and almost 4 TD a game his last 5 games lol but last night was probably the first full game the voters have seen.

@@SportZFan4L1fe Kyle Ford is the second best receiver on USC behind Jordan Addison in my opinion. He makes plays everytime he catches the ball. i have no fucking clue why we play brendon rice over him.
Those picks killed us. This game is often a shootout, a last team with the ball type of game, and who makes the key mistakes often loses it.
With this performance, Caleb secured a spot as a Heisman finalist.
He shows out vs Notre Dame next Saturday, he wins it- via the Carson Palmer formula.
Only problem is if he falls victim to what happened to CMC (meaning the voters miss his games often because of how late they are)

But they’re not ready yet. That defense needs a massive overhaul. It got the job done in the end, but if they’re going struggle against mediocre pac 12 schools, they’re going to get dumpster by better programs. Still, it’s a great day to be a Trojan

This game really showed how talented DTR actually is. Final score 48-45 and UCLA had infinite turnovers. If DTR would've just stayed composed and made thought through choices, UCLA absolutely destroys this game. Watching him drop a snap and then running it himself for a first down, or being chased down by multiple trojans and somehow delivering a dime to his receiver only for him to drop it, just shows how could he could've been. Every game they lost except for the Oregon game was because of the devastating amount of turnovers they had.
Lincoln's done phenomenal, producing W's 👏while team's under construction, much of it still inside tarps and scaffolding 🤪✌
Lot of heart from DTR, that loss is gonna sting but I love the kid's effort and fight. Just a fun, high scoring game between 2 inter state division rivals. More performances like that from Williams and he's gonna lock up the 1st pick in 2024, just watch.

The Trojans showed a lot of fight and proved they could beat good ranked teams. Maybe they jump to 5th? They at least go to 6th with Tennessee's loss.
They should be 5th but I did still give up a lot of touchdowns and yards against this ucla team.

Historically speaking the ranking system usually doesn’t favor pac 12 teams so usc is probably gonna be rank 6 not go up to 5 and they will find some way to keep LSU higher than USC
@@bren-fire546 the ranking system always favors USC, as far back as I can remember USC has always been ranked higher than there actually are. This year is no exception they have not beat one ranked team until UCLA who is actually 16 and they barely beat them.

Being older USC fan, I only care about beating Notre Dame. But UCLA is a close 2nd.

Damn shame for UCLA. If the Bruins would have just run 2 4 and some short to intermediate sideline passes. They had enough time on the clock to at least tie with a field goal. Good win for USC. Hope they get the 4th spot for the playoffs to represent the PAC.

What a game! So much action and athleticism from both sides...The missed field goals by SC could have been a detriment, but the timely interceptions really made a difference.
Such a classic rivalry...no matter what their records are, you know that this game will be a great one.
My earliest recollections go back to as a 5-6-year-old watching OJ's Trojans against Beban's Bruins with my dad, throughout the years. Ricky Bell, Charles White, Anthony Davis, Pat Haden, Lynn Swan, JK Mckay, Rodney Peete, Anthony Munoz, Junior Seau, Ronnie Lott...Kenley Easley, Gaston Greene, JJ Stokes, Troy Aikman, and Wendall Tyler...The list goes on and on...
I always look forward to this game every year!

I was going to go to USC mand what I rivalry we had with that UCLA, that was a game to watch for sure.
Yes, DTR has 4 turnovers, including the game-clinching INT loss. But, wow, Bruin fans should be grateful for his time at UCLA. He truly made huge strides of improvement each year and gave UCLA an identity/swagger that we haven't in over a decade. He left everything out there on the field (when's the last time you've seen a QB be the lead blocker 3+ times in a game?) and added a huge excitement to UCLA football. Thank you, DTR! I had big hopes for UCLA, and at times they looked good, but it's hard at times to keep it together when you continue to shoot yourself in the foot. Outside that, I love to watch the Pac 12 conference games, because they can be some of the most exciting games on TV.

SC is good but benefits from a corrupt ranking system from as far as i can remember. this win should barely brake them into the top 10 since this is the 1st ranked team they actually played all year.
