    You need to take care not to let the steering wheel rotate while you have it disconnected because you can break the clock spring that is behind the air bag. if you spin the wheel to far you will break the spring and your airbag light will come on. just so you know.

    Great video but you should lock the steering wheel in place because if you don't and the steering wheel keeps turning making multiple full turns you can bust your clock spring that way then you will have an airbag light on very important lock your steering wheel in place remove the key

    and you also have to make sure it is put back on the knuckle in the same position. If you put it on and it is off by 2 turns in any direction and you drive it you can still break the clock spring. it you turn the wheel and fill resistants' at the end of the turn in any direction dont force it or you will feel the clock spring snap .if you feel it you have stop and remove it from the steering knuckle again and reset the wheel to the straight ahead position . Just count the turns from one end to the other end without breaking the spring . then start at either end and count half the turns and reinstall.

    Good video. Did this tighten up the play in the steering wheel at all? I have about 3 degrees of free play before the steering engages and have fixed this in the past on other GM vehicles by replacing the green steering bearing, but I see from your video its white and the sensor is the bearing. Very curious if you noticed a tightening.

    Do you have any vids on Hummer H2, my driver seat moving very tiny jerking forward when I accelerate the car, for instance when I'm on a stop sign and when I move forward you can feel the seats move move slightly forward.
    Have you ever fix this issue before?
    Please kindly advise.

    Thank you.

    • @SidhuDIY
      @SidhuDIY  Před 4 lety

      Your seat cushion has a plastic clip at the bottom and it could be broken or open, you need to make sure that should fit into the metal bracket and I think this is the reason you feel the movement in your seat.
      Please check and share the results.
