    One of the very best technical reviews I have seen. A very articulate in depth review. I have been thinking about an airstream Basecamp x, however due to the numerous quality and then service issues with Airstreams, I think I Will probably going with this option.

      Quality and service issues with Airstreams? Hmmm....most Airstream owners I've talked to rave about Airstream quality and cite quality and reputation as the primary reason for purchase. Who is telling you Airstream has quality problems?

      @@tangobravo8889 Fair enough. I'm not an Airstream employee or advocate or anything, but you're literally the first person I've seen complain about Airstream quality as a reason NOT to purchase one. All RV's have issues - every last one, from cheapest to most expensive, including NuCamp and Airstream RV's. Overall though, the consensus seems to be that both are high-quality RV manufacturers. I don't think you can go wrong with either one. Happy travels!

      @tangobravo8889 Před 3 lety

      @@davervatx8814 I completely understand that all RV’s can have issues,. A number of years ago I owned a well known brand diesel pusher with slide so I have a general idea of RV ownership. I will be the first to admit that I am not an expert. Having said that, I am now retired and plan on purchasing another RV so with the help of all the social media platforms I have been doing as much research as possible. I will be buying new and paying cash for whatever I purchase. My main focus has been in the direction of Airstreams. However, after my research I have decided my money would be better spent on one of the different purchase options.
      That’s just my personal impression and decision, I am sure others would have their own.

    I love the Tab 400. However, it seems to me the only real problem most
    people are having is the location of the microwave. Very unusable, other
    than for storage. Change location of microwave to lower cabinet area,
    or take out all together. Too bad a larger fridge couldn't be designed in.

    Hi Folks...good show, thank you. A few questions for you, please: 1) If you have City Water on and pressurized through the Nautilus system, do you need to have the water pump turned on? 2) If you are plugged in to home power (15amp) and 'storing the camper" but without the water with glycol, does the battery need to be switched off or left on? 3) If the shower water never seems to get hot enough, what do you need to do?

    Great video. I just purchased a 2021 Tab 400 Boondock and went out to try heating using propane. I set the display for the temperature I wanted and set it to propane, but the radiant heat never activated. I could hear something running but nothing coming out of vents or from floor. Does it take a while to activate. I did auto ignite the the stove to bleed the propane lines. What else should I try?

      After owning two other “mainstream” RVs built by other companies, I can say you get what you pay for. These are hand built by Amish craftsmen in Ohio using the best of the best materials and components. My other RVs started falling apart after about a year. These are a bargain compared to Airstream campers which are of similar quality.
