- Pawleys Plantation is one of the most played golf courses in Myrtle Beach and it is also one of the most difficult! So what can an average golfer shoot from the tips at Pawleys Plantation

thanks for playimg pawleys. first time ive seen this course on you tube. one of my favs in m.b. but it ate my lunch. on the back nine 40 m.p.h. winds and raining sideways. thanks
It's a fun course, would love to try it again without rushing to be the sun
Played there summer of 2022. Shot a 84. One of nicest, but toughest courses I have ever played. That’s including Sawgrass. I almost had a hole in one on the 13th hole. 2 inches from the hole. #9 is a dumb hole with that big tree right in the middle of the fairway though. Another hard but great course you need to play is Caledonia. I live in Greer,SC so I have almost played them all in MB over 30+ years
We were meant to play Caledonia on the final day of this trip but we got rained out :(
Really cool to see how the course plays since the removal of a lot of large waste areas.
We actually didn't know they made such radical changes, all of our apps were NOT updated and we were like "wait, where's the GIANT bunker???" lol
That back 9 is not for the faint of heart.
Really enjoyed that. It's nicer to be rushed by the sun rather than the warden, like last time ;p See ya on the next one.
HAHA MUCH nicer for sure, still stressful though haha
PAG, the overhead views are from pre-renovation correct? Thanks for another great video.
EDIT: Nevermind, I just saw your clarification on hole 10.👍🏼
Haha yeah that's just whatever Google Earth had archived!
I don’t know what this man would do without his 58° 😂. Gotta know your bag!
Love my 58 mannnn
Nice golf. If that is average golf, I am way down the line, just above a beginner.
Tip of the day: practice putting, not on just carpet, but slightly sculptured carpet. I came out of winter dropping some unbelievable putts.
Now, which radio station did you work for? Your voice over sounds like you where on the air at one time.
Haha I don't work for a radio station but I do work as a freelance commentator as my main gig lol
I was just at Myrtle Beach before Christmas and I've played a ton of courses in the area. Never played at Pawleys Plantation, but that course will definitely be on my radar when I head down next time! Playing any other courses while you are down there this time?
World Tour up next and the final is TPC Myrtle!
I played World Tour a while ago and it was one of the coolest courses I've ever played at! TPC Myrtle will also have to be on my radar at some point. When you head down next time, try to play Rivers Edge Golf Club, which is an Arnold Palmer designed course and another really cool course I played earlier in November.
Hate to be a downer, but hole 2 was a double bogey 6. 😢
OH SNAP ur totally right, I didn't change the FOR PAR text in the template and just let it slip. Good catch!
Wait Is perfectly average golfer and cdl caster holdshift the same person?
One in the same!
That is a really challenging course
SUPER Challenging, LIGHTNING fast hard greens as well didn't make it easier haha
an 8 handicap playing from the back tees. what is it with you you tube players. it just slowa play
IMO Handicap vs tees selection is an out of date way of thinking. Should be based on distance and yardage. One of the guys on the trip is scratch and said the same thing. Judge off driver and 7 iron distances. A 270+ driver and a 170+ 7 iron should be playing between 6800-7200 which all of us were. Distance wasn't an issue for any of us on the course, you can duff chips playing off the red tees just as much as you do from the tips
You haven’t moved much with respect to subscribers, likes, and views. I like watching but it’s only because you play Carolinas courses. I would rethink your entire concept of the content. A start would be play wider, friendlier courses, cheat like Good Good Golf, and collaborate with established channels.
Eh the channel is more for me than anything else. The biggest miss I have is not posting to social media and doing short form content, but flat out I just don't have the time to edit 1 round 3 different ways.
