Today we explore Thailand for the first time- in particular we visit Ao Nang in Krabi. It was the perfect start- we loved it. We do the monkey trail, get a Thai massage, and visit the Phi Phi Islands. This includes, Maya Bay, snorkelling, Phi Lee Lagoon and much more.

I agree that many Island Hopping Tours have a tight schedule but all worth visiting from Ao Nang especialy the 4-Island Tour, Hong Island Tour and Phi Phi Island Tour. Obviously you can go to Railey whenever you feel like it as it is only a 15 minutes boat ride from Ao Nang
Yeah, I think we got unlucky as we missed 2 hours due to the boat braking down. Like you say, still well worth doing! We really enjoyed it in the end.

The pineapple would be fine , the massage ladies on the beachfront in Ao Nang always give them out 😊
Price vs Quality is great for the hotel.

You made a good point regarding your island hoping tour. You don't get a lot of time on any of the islands you visit, think you get the longest time a phi phi island which is normally about 2 hours max. Every other island you get about 50 minutes or so.
If you want to spend longer on islands then you need to take a private tour and its then up to you how long and where you go.
Yes thats right, i think we were unlucky with the boat breaking down- meaning we had less time to explore the islands. We did think about private tours after this one!
But since then we have done some great tours which have been inland, so we are thinking boat tours are better private but the inland ones are fine paying for the more public(cheaper one)
