So I’m curious? You nosed up into that little section of whitewater and then didn’t go up?? You certainly have the power and there was sufficient room between rocks to get up and through?
That kinda water is what makes jet boats fun. You’re missing out on what jet boats are made for.

I don't have uhmw and have ran it before, I'm not missing out on anything, above what you can't see is a giant boulder which is a problem? I run that river 100s of hours a summer and know when and when not I should take the chute

You have a Jack plate on it now? You think it runs shallow now, put a hydraulic plate on.
Having a jackplate would literally do nothing for a tunnel hull jet as the jet Intake Is already above the bottom of the boat...that hull cant go any shallower, it's not the motor
@@FishOnLuke sounds like it’s set right. Not familiar with a G3. I have a 1860 flare bottom tunnel and have had jets and props, both ran on a Jack plate. Improved performance and capabilities dramatically.

I currently run my 16ModV with seadoo 787 110hp.
I am constantly preparing for the "next" build but keep telling myself I already got it, minus the ocean lol.
Im stuck on the G3 and SeaArk because im not convinced the hull is an upgrade since theyre still tin boats with tin stringers. I would want the next boat to be plate 1/4" so I can run thick UHMW so im legit invincible.
The PA rivers are steep and pure rock and though I can run 99.8% of it, its those days at a new launch when we have to turn around instead of proceed that really BUM me out! And im not even careful, you should see the patches on my hull from just 4yrs lol.
Do you have any info on G3 or the like running UHMW? To me theyre too thin and would cause problems.
Im considering finding an older G3/SeaArk and replacing the bottom with plate and full weld stringers and a Rotax.
Up here if we cant slide or romp, we are limited.

Jets run out better without that tunnel. Faster and shallower.
Not sure how much shallower a jet can go, been in probably a dozen, haven't seen one go as shallow as mine, included my roomates with no tunnel and just a splash guard. Not sure I need to go shallower than ankle deep at almost 40 mph

For the 2017 8 ft no way, in the newer ones from 2018 on I believe yes
