These past several months Tripp, a recovering Alcoholic, has begun to define what it means to him. Looking forward to an incredible season from the boys on the ice and the boys in the booth. Can't wait to hear you calling games again Tripp for all the huge Caniacs out there. You add so much energy, knowledge, and humor to the broadcasts they are not the same without you. Glad you were blessed with another opportunity and can focus again on doing what you love.
As someone who grew up around substance abuse my own life and an avid canes fan, I am so proud and happy for you Tripp! I've been going to Al-Anon since I was a teen and I'm so glad you found a program that works for you and is supportive. I know you said that you haven't accomplished anything yet, but you have done so much work already! Yes the road is long, and recovery is a continuous process but please don't think that the work you've done so far is insignificant!
