I love this piece! I was playing it at a time when I had a recording. My daughter, who plays viola and violin, came running down from her room, wanting to know what that wonderful music was. Thank you! Thank you! Thank you!
The LP / vinyl of 'Brendan' and of this great music is the best 👍😀. I bought an early CD edition in London c1991 and was horrified- what in God's name had they done?, it was TERRIBLE!! Not worth the £5 I paid for it... I still have it😅
I've just listened to the complete suite for about the 30th time. Having grown up near the sea and with an ancestry of seafarers the various movements often come back to mind, 'out of the blue', as they say. I absolutely love it and all the images it brings to mind, so picturesque.😊😊😊
Concert écouté en plein air, en soirée, en Ecosse, dans les années 1995-97.
C'était sublime et c'est resté dans nos mémoires.
Beautiful piece of music Here on in the background as I work. Made us very proud to be Irish, when it first came out.
Hi I played cello on this recording!

My name is Tim my parents was reading Tim Severin in the 90s !!
My name is Brendan, my parents were listening to this in the 80’s !
Thanks, like St. Brendan himself, this homage is unduly obscure!
Wonderful, I never get tired of listening to it
Fantastic, I was at the premiere at the festival interceltique du Lorient and will never forget it.
What envy
I attended the concert Sydney Opera House in the 1990s with Liam O’Flynn- ní dhéanfaidh mé dearmad go deo.
I remember this music. This used to play over the RTE Test card during 1987 to 1989. Now I know it was The Brendan Voyage.
