All ppe aside, you're learning kid. I've cut myself a few times and have prayed and gave thanks I didn't lose a leg. Practice proper technique when using a tool such as this. I know the older saws don't have the safety stuff these do but at least use it if you got it. Kick that chain brake every time you move your feet. If you fall for any reason, that will be what saves you. Learn the bend and bow of a trunk when bucking. Determine which way the main log will kick when u buck a round off it, prep for that kick with an exit plan if it's to come towards you, and always cut the direction when finishing the cut that will have the least chance of getting your saw hung up. Godspeed young man.
Jesus Christ this is tough to watch. And I thought Joe Barney was unsafe. Get some safety gear, hold the saw so the kickback brake will actually work and quit cheesing for the camera while your W.O.T. That one hand hold is gonna cost ya when that low rpm chain grabs your pants.
One hand with the chainsaw, not wearing any protection and playing like a teenager first time with a gas engine... But operating an expensive professional chainsaw, just sick.

All comments aside the 500i is a Fast and a Light Chainsaw, and here in New Zealand 🇳🇿 a lot of Silver culture tree 🌳 felling operators are using the 500i in preference to the Husky equivalent, also the Husky Chainsaws keep the Stihl brand Honest. 😀
Can't stand when people "1 hand" a saw for cool points. You look like a tool doing it and someone who may be a novice a see that could seriously hurt themselves copying that bad habit.
@ la un Stihl ms 271, astăzi l-am pornit și l-am accelerat puțin către un lemn și arunca foarte puțin în vârful lamei. Poate daca tăiam arunca mai mult. Am dat jos lama și se vede că iese ulei, doar că nu știu ce cantitate e ok să scoată...
@@vasileok4134 am înteles, verifică si fie pompa de ulei ok, să nu fie înfundată, nici orificiu, de la melc, să nu fie înfundat verifică daca are reglaj al debitului. În rest, poate asa este ea gandită

Chainbreak doesn't work if you don't have your hand on the handle. Some people's kids....i tell ya.
Put it this way, I wouldn’t stand next to him while he’s got that saw in his hand. I like having my legs attached to me too much.

Depinde de model. Dar la modele hobby e ceva normal, la ce profesionale e in functie de lungimea lamei.
