It just means the enemy wasn't worthy. They want to die to something massive and powerful, the bigger the better.

@@goddagogeddagabbagool They do want to die, they are depressed to the point that most other races would just commit suicide because something happened to them that made their dwarf life not worth living anymore.
Ancestor worship + Dawi culture means that they can't do that without disgracing their ancestors (and gods) so they have to find other ways to die while not being disgraced in the eyes of their dead and living relatives.
Imagine, you finally finished building huge armies of undeads and dreaming spreading terror across the land and you stopped by 20 half naked burly halfings with punk hair

I'm currently playing as aranessa. The feed log in the begining of each turn is "waagh against vampires" "waagh against empire" "waagh against dwarf" "waagh against kislev/winter tooth/norsca....." I'm currently afraid of trying to invade the badlands. The last patch just added Cocaine with shrooms for the greenskins.

I love how when Dwarfs want to commit suicide, they have to force themselves to fight horror after horror until they get killed by something in a gruesome way, because suicide the normal way is probably seen as an "Umgi" thing to do.
