This is so uncannily on point I really have a hard time listening to it. It is so, so, depressing because it is so true. Virtually unsurmountable.
Malcolm was one of the true prophetical voices of the 20th century. We can see his words being played out today in the west. This is especially true in the United States 🇺🇸. So sad to see us headed down the same path as Babylon, Greece, and Rome as we declare rights to destroy ourselves . May God have mercy on us!!!!!

MM has been a major influence on my life. After my first 25 years, I emerged from Humanism/Marxism and found MMs memoirs. It changed me forever. I am familiar with the Great Liberal Death Wish, now called "wokeism". MM once wrote: every piece of human folly must be reduced to absurdity before God knocks it on the head.
Wokeism is liberalism, reduced to absurdity. Keep up the good work.

I found this piece quite thought provoking so I ventured to listen to Muggerage on an old episode of Firing Line. I then realized he’s an idiot. Sad
I cant find this book online? Is it actually called the great liberal death wish? When i look it up I get an essay by him with the same title. Did he make and essay and a book with the same title?
This essay was included by Russell Kirk in his Viking Conservative Reader. Kirk notes that this essay first appeared in a volume called "Things Past," which was published in New York in 1979.

There are Liberals and then there are "Liberals" and I suspect Malcom is reffering to the latter provided "Generic Liberals" (Mill, Spencer, Molinari, Pareto, among others) had all vocally opposed socialism far less radical than the form pushed by Lenin and Comrades.
I know it is hard for us to imagine it today but before say the first world war or so it was actually more common than not among "Intellectuals" to oppose socialism in its various manifestations
Just keep in mind that the liberalism criticized by MM is very different from the liberalism that Rush Limbaugh and Donald Trump talk about.
Its exactly the same mindset just some of the names have changed but its the same old same old path to destruction. 😎😂😂🖕
