Hey madilynn, that spot you found at the end was stunning!! I love this retrospective style of video. There are so many challenges to your way of life and it must be so difficult sometimes just wanting to be stationary and find stability in one spot but not being able to find something ideal for your needs - but as you said in the video every challenge led you to the beautiful finale! The open windy areas offer some relief from the bugs. trade off but thats what I look for always.

Cedarwood essential oil will keep the bugs off. I use it as a natural alternative on myself and my pooch. For her, I put it on her harness or a bandana.

I wish the whole world took recycling that serious. I get so frustrated over how much needs to be done in every state to ensure recyable materials are handled properly and taken seriously.
I agree! And I wish what is recyclable and what isn’t was taught to people more.

Mosquitoes can be such a pain! I have a friend who works in Yosemite NP and he got a bunch of mosquito gear including a net for his face so he doesn't get eaten when he goes fishing. It looks ridicules but it might be worth investing so you can be confident in any place you find that you have a plan to ward off the blood suckers! He just got his gear from Amazon.

Mosquitos are a terrible necessity for sure lol. I have a few small ponds on the property and some times they can just be awful at peak times in the summer. Spring and fall isn't bad at all though. I'm considering looking into getting some Dragonfly Nymphs or something to cut the numbers down, use nature to fight nature. That's such a cool little photo printer, perfect for scrap books for sure.

Try this on guitar. Take your tuner and tune both e strings, the top and bottom string, down to D. Then play the two top strings of a D chord, letting all those D's resonate. Very good for omming
You might find it less of a mess if you put the ice in seperate freezer bags, that way it melts in the bags instead of everywhere else..🙂

Just a comment/nit/thought - I don't think fans work the same for dogs as they do people. People sweat and the fan helps evaporates the sweat and which cools them off. I guess if the fan is blowing in the dog's mouth it would be the same.

get the thermacell rechargeable repellent device. v1 works better then v2 and makes less noise on start up. i have both and use the v1 when i play disc golf. its not meant to move around but when i set my bag down to throw and all my friends throw it enough time for the bugs to leave. and the v2 i just leave in the van but i leave my van door open and have it on the foot step and it just does its job and no bugs. well at least no bugs that drink your blood lol they are kinda spendy but well worth it in my opinion. i live in WA and we get so many dumb mosquitos

@@madilynndawn niiice im in the lacey/olympia area and i also have a van built out its a odyssey and already did a trip to disneyland and universal studios but plan on going back to bend, OR for a week or so soon. but yea i used it agian today play disc golf and no bugs why we can hear the card infront of us complaining LOL :)

I will find you a name of a mosquito repellent canister that you can put around your campsite to deflect them pesky mosquitos, another youtuber swears by them.
