It also has slinger bursts at will and a super tenderize combo like dual blades and its even easier to use.

Shield Throw should come in two types: Ricochet(Blunt damage and will hit a number of other enemies depending on weapon rank. Good for knocking over large monsters and dealing heavy damage to groups.) or Rotation(Cutting damage and will spin in the air, blades out, through the monster until it hits a wall. Speed of dps depends on weapon rank.). Shield element depends on the weapons element, unless you unlock the free element skill. In that case the sword will have the original element and the shield will have the hidden one. The shield will have a glow aura of the hidden element for aesthetics.

Oils were stupid good. Honestly affinity oil made the damned thing crit all the time. Combined with status crit and you'd get like 2 hits before the status is applied
@@YourPalRowan It doesn't have to be a 1 to 1 port of oils you know...mostly just the concept is cool and adds a lot of utility to a weapon who's entire THING is utility.

-two fire modes and the ability to use the power shot outside of weapon combos,
-a brand-new, super strong combo with timing based inputs and a ton of elemental proc potential,
-a ton of new, amazing master rank weapons,
-and a claw uppercut that basically gives the sns one of the most powerful abilities in the game:
the ability to jump.

Yall laugh but I actually have mad respect for HH mains. The buffs they provide are so useful in every situation. I never managed to beat burning crimson fatalis until an HH main joined my party and gave us the defense boost we needed to not get constantly OHKO'd. HH has saved my bacon multiple times with health boost near death, and the atk buffs it can provide have made many a hunt go MUCH faster.
I can go on and on - negate status has made chameleos a complete pushover, divine protection has made gogmazios's ground slam a wet noodle, and negate wind makes kushala and the rath variants trivial... Finally, though I've only met 1 player capable of using it, the stun damage HH puts out is insane. All in all, HH is a HUGE asset when used properly.
bb2fiddler yeah, HH is great. It's my most played weapon by a *wide* margin. I don't really get why there's not more of us out there but well I guess people don't want the game to be too easy.

A quick synopsis of everything that happened in the video.
noodle man extremely depressed that the sword and shield is now much less versatile do to every other weapon being able to use the slinger while unsheathedand goes crazy attempting to bring back the mightynes of the sword and shield attempts to use olive oil that he stole from the meowscular chef thinking that he could restore the oils that once made the sword and shield so mighty but then slips on the oil and precedes to cry for 10 more hours
I actually just watched the story and weapon videos yesterday and wondered how'd you react to them. Glad to see you were one step ahead of me. Love ya bro. Don't give up hope. I may not be a SnS main (Gunlance) but i have great respect for any that put emphasis on defense. Hope to see the Warlock and Wizard guides soon!

Honestly, I feel like having multiple Slinger ammo slots on SnS would work nicely - you'd select them like you would Bowgun ammo, and each slot can have its own ammo - allowing the SnS to hold *every* type of Slinger ammo at once. ("Inventory" style ammo like Flash Pods would be in the list too, of course)
Also let SnS sprint when using items unsheathed.

How is this the first time you've animated the meowscular chef
This is a deeper meaning than we thought. SnS’s are neglected, as hunters enjoy the new slingers, Jocat cries about the how they neglected the SnS, as he rants into complete insanity and depression. As we see Jocat, his mind unravels to a single solution. Oils. He takes the *EXTRA VIRGIN* olive oil, while the chef suffers. Jocat uses this oil and rants for hours about bringing the SnS to it’s former glory, as he dumps the olive oil onto the blade, talking about how he can restore it to it’s former glory. Once he finishes, and swings it around violently, shouting out Velkhana hate slogans as he continues swinging around before he slips on the extra oil and gets himself nearly killed. Jocat will go after Velkhana, the guild, and the whole new world if he so pleases, for he will lead the SnS army to the infinity SnS and snap his fingers as half of all weapons are replaced with SnS’s. Hail Jocat. Hail Jocat. Hail Jocat.

@@JArt872 No, but every other weapon is getting a buff in Iceborne that makes SnS' current primary advantage pointless. But it seems it will get something else new instead.
