- After some negative industry feedback, Bavaria decided to remodel its 32 Cruiser. The result is the 33 Cruiser - same hull but a different deck and revised interior. So was the revamp a success? Yachting Monthly goes sailing to find out.

Great video. Thanks. So often boat "reviews" seem much more like advertisements with nothing critical ever said. I hope to see more boats covered this way.
I've always liked reviews that do more than speak of the positives. More trustworthy. Good job!
Nice touch. Locker there and a locker there and here is another locker. Good ventilation. Freezer there and another here. Oh here is another locker. Huge stovage here.
I love your reviews! Both understanding and investigative
+XxINCHAINSxX Yeah I love that he actually reviews and critiques the boats and doesn't feel like a "paid for" ad from the manufacturers.
Thanks Alexandru, always appreciate feedback.
Those are the dark satanic mills of Southampton, near The Solent.
Re: conditions, we get what we get. We'd like to have her for a week and test in all sorts of weather but the practicalities rule it out: UK Bavaria agent Clipper Marine has test sails booked and we've got a magazine to make. If you see yourself taking on some lively weather, she's probably not the boat for you. Great coastal cruiser but not designed for North Atlantic gales.
Chris
Excellent, honest review! Thanks!
A positive yet fair review! We would be happy to set up a test sail for any serious inquiries on the west coast (North America).
Cool, I don't see Chris this satisfied often. Guess it might be a surprisingly nice boat from Bavaria!
Like the improvement, the revamp did it for me
Well done video as always... Pappy
This gentleman does a fine job with all things nautical, but he has a way of swallowing his own consonants. I’m pretty good with Brit voices, but I find myself reading the captions to be sure of what he’s saying. Enunciate, sir !
Formidable optimisation des volumes,et systèmes intéressants.
Honest and informative review.
I wouldn't say these reviews are totally candid. As others have noted, the magazine/website depends heavily on advertising from the boat manufacturers. Given that the company doesn't want to lose ad revenues from any boat maker, the reviewer is not going to be overtly negative about any boat or specific aspects of a boat. He does question certain design features, always diplomatically put, and I suppose that is all that can be expected. It's the reality of lifestyle publishing: you've got to (mostly) like anything made by a company that might give you advertising.
4:46 the sound of that roof tells me this is not a boat for me.
Absolute dream boat
I wonder if CB found the main sheet attachment on the steel arch in the cockpit a little less than robust? A very small shackle has to used owing to the size of the hole for the pin in the lower main sheet pulley?
It's really my dream... Great!!!
My dream sailboat, i wish it weren't that expensive
jacksondinky2eds haha, you obviously have seen the Sirius! 😂
I want to live there!!!
May be able to use like a flared shim for the rope guide? Like the review..thanks...drifting..
Have you done any reviews of the previous Bavaria 33 Cruiser (2006-07)? I couldn't find any tests of that boat. I was wondering what would say if you compare it with this new model...
when i win the lottery i will buy one. for now for a pauper like me who has just been made redundant i will continue with my intro 22 and gawp at these bigger yachts with interest
Any chanse you guys are going to revied the Cruiser 37?
nice review, is this the Bill Murray of the Yacht world?
cool
Trying to find a place for plates...
Enjoy the reviews. One suggestion: the narrator coiuld ennunciate more clearly.
I like the boat but would change more than a few things.
1. Good introduction to the B-33 - thank you.
2. While informative, I believe a test should be (much) more than a stroll in a... pond. I would like to benefit from the gained knowledge of a person who experienced first hand some boisterous condition I myself might get into some day.
If car testing reviews would take place in a cul-de-sac environment at 10-15 mph I doubt will be exhilarating reading...
3. Where is the dark apocalyptic industrial background you find for the video shooting?
he has his own image rather than the ship
I wonder if they "fixed" the old model problem which made it tilt to Port even on dock... really, it was THAT bad!
класс
Hello It was very bad to hear, please repeat, what is your height?
I like his accent
Is this a day sailor?
I am 187, my husband 192.
Good, but, for Brazil ....expensive !!!!!

cheap bitch
Reviewing Yachting Dwarf is not a happy bunny on a king one ?
What does cruiser mean? This is not an ocean going boat.
CS 30
Bavarias and Beneteaus with lots of smaller and more serious issues, like loose keels etc, as largely known by the sailing communuty.
When a boat builder produces hundreds of boats per year, quality necessaryly deteriorates.
I'm sure as you get older you deteriorate so shut up.
stupid duck
i was in Croatia a few years ago and was told of a horrifying story where the keels broke on a series of new Bavaria’s in a race, one man died. Bavaria say they addressed the issue but Never buy an old Bavaria.
These "modern" interiors are so boring!
