Hey Jud, first of all thank you for making this series. I travel a lot for both business and pleasure and honestly this has saved me more times than I can count, going as far as saving me during a business presentation when living in Japan.
With that being said, Tile just came out with a credit card tile for wallets, etc. (incase you want to check that out).

I made my own survival kit ver 1.0 since the release of that video and it's still inside my backback, and I think is the best one of the 3! I use it 2 or 3 timer per week, and I went on beach on a flash travel the last week and thanks to that kit I could hace a tech survive! (my wife and I forgotten the cell phone chargers)

If you're traveling over seas you can bring an extension cord with wall sockets that comes with the ports from your country and only buy a single wall adapter so you can just plug it into the wall and still use all you're chargers

Go to Aliexpress, buy a 3 in 1 cable which is magnetic for around 4 dollars. Buy a micro USB to otg for less than a dollar. Buy a microfiber cloth for around a dollar or less. A with 32gb for around a few dollars. And even more :). All very cheap.

I've always kept a mini USB cable, my DSLR's use them if you need don't have a card reader. I can't speak for all DSLR's but my Nikon D3 and D4's do.
Freaking love Kuru Toga pencils. I have the blue (?) one 0.5mm from a starter kit I got from an OfficeMax a while back. It's a great little pencil for doodling and overall writing tasks. I haven't broken a lead *once* with that darn thing. It's a wonderful pencil

I actually do still carry a Mini-USB cable at all times, for my gopro hero 3 and a controller. I also carry one in my camera bag so i can control my camera from my phone

I'd include a usb solar panel so you're prepared for absolutely anything. There's some on offer on amazon right now for as little as £20 (in the uk at least)
Your sound quality is spot on. Video quality is amazing also.
Be advised....many of those 1 to 3 head cables will NOT charge at full speeds like QC3.0. Instead, better to look for single cables which come with attached adapters for other connectors. Yeah, I found this out the hard way :D Yes, you lose the charge 3 things at once ability, but I'd rather have full speed charging, one device at a time.

I have a Baseus 4in1 usb cable. I have the one with 2 usb c, lightning and micro usb, it's braded and from the split every cable is different colour so you can see by colour which one you need. You can take one with lightning x2 or micro usb x2. I love that cable and it was something like 5$. All my cables are theirs and they are the best.
I think I like it more when you actually have the bag in front of you and just remove gadget by gadget while explaining. But this was a cool video anyway.
Next time you should do a hyper-compact version of this to put into a bag/ purse without adding much weight or space.

I have the red anker 3.5mm in mt kit and it works flawlessly. Skullcandy doesnt really make their replacements for the hesh 2 anymore so i needed a backup. It also works well with the anker soundcore

I have the 'Tronoe' Earbuds (they're actually called Plextone 41M) and they do sound great and have the most gigantic bass response ever from an earphone.

Really wouldn't go for that tactical pen, the proprietary refills will be either a nightmare or impossible to find.
You would do much better to go for anything that takes a Fisher or Parker type refill.
Couple that with something like a Photon Freedom light and you have a reliable combo.
