Your Dracula’s Confession looks great in the frame. Your tote bag is going to be awesome with that design stitched on it. I do love that black tree with the birds.

So many awesome projects. Love the idea of trying out different black threads. There are definitely black threads that I like more than others. Cost aside, I'd probably pick NPI as a favorite for most black projects or if I wanted a really primitive look, Gentle Arts. That said, I'm impatient and often have DMC handy; so that's what I end of using a lot (even though it's my least favorite, LOL).

I haven’t tried NPI yet, but I definitely will based on your recommendation! ☺️ I really like Raven from Gentle Arts, I just always admired the greenish hue, but as you said it’s usually DMC. 😂

Thank you! The tote bag is by Charles Craft and I originallly got it at Joann, but I haven’t been able to locate it since then. I can’t even find it on Amazon so I wonder if they discontinued it?
