    01 - Door Switch
A door switch might be failing intermittently. Check each of the door switches for signs of overheating, arcing, or burning. If you don’t see any obvious signs of failure, use a multimeter to test each switch for continuity. If any of the switches is visibly damaged or only has intermittent continuity, replace it.
    02 - Main Control Board
Control boards are often misdiagnosed-before replacing the control board, first check more commonly defective parts, particularly the door switches. If all of the other components are working properly, replace the control board.

My microwave had a similar problem - Panasonic NN-SN671S would automatically shut off after 3 seconds. Ordered a set of the three door switches on amazon for $10 and replaced all three. They are all mounted in one black plastic bracket that you can see in the video. Make sure to unplug the device from the outlet before you open the cover. It was very simple to replace. Open 5 screws from the back, then remove the cover. Open two more screws to dismount the black plastic bracket. The switches are just latched in place, be careful not to break the plastic when you replace them. Notice two switch types - you can tell them apart by the different location of one of the metal contacts. So replace one at a time and make sure you use the switch that matches the type of the old switch. In my case, the middle switch was broken, the button was depressed, would not pop back. The other two still function but had dark overheat marks, so I would suggest to replace all three. It's an easy DIY repair, about 15-20 minutes work.

The black plastic bracket is so cheap that it does not hold my door switches closed and so I had the "three second problem".
I took the three swithes off of that bracket and used zip ties to permanently engage the switches. The microwave now works normally except I remember not to open the door while it is running. Press STOP and then open door rather that opening the door to make it stop.
      PS
Based on other 'arcing' problems mentioned here in other comments, it is apparently best not to open the door without pressing STOP first.

Everyone says the interlock switches are the issue when the unit stops after two seconds. In my case, the power relay on the control board just behind the keypad was not conducting when it closed. This requires a replacement relay that you can find online. It is soldered into the board so requires unsoldering the old relay.
You can also cut away the plastic side of the old relay next to the power connections and file down the contacts so the relay conducts again.
This relay and the interlock switches are unnecessarily damaged by arcing when the door is opened while the microwave is running. Always hit STOP before opening the door.

Better to crimp both cleaned wires into a new connector or solder them, but nice work finding the culprit. I would have written it off as control, power or magnetron. Loss of connection on primary side usually results in no start at all, but inverter type ovens behave a little differently, it seems. Thank you.

The black wire has more Amp and current that's why it was cut because of heat the black wire its connected with other wire as you see in this video both wires connected to door switch in one pin both wires are clamped together if you replace the calmp would be better because it's bad and it's also better to whopping them with plastic cover or electrical tape for safety, clamp both wires must be tight the wires won't make any sparks while microwave is working, the purpose of this video is to show you the cause of this problem is wires connected to the main door switch not the switch

Hi, when I start my Panasonic NN-L931BF Inverter Microwave, the timer, fan, and rotating turntable and light begin to operate but stop after exactly 5 seconds. The timer resets to start but everything else stops when the Magnetron tries to kick in. Always after 5 secs exactly.
I checked all the door switches and fuses and all is OK. I'm about to pull out the Magneton
Do you think this is causing the cook function to reset the oven? It is dated 2001 but I just bought it a year ago. First time this has happened. The magnetron is 2M261-M32, older than the one in your video. I don't believe the fuse is blown as it starts everytime. Do I need to replace the invertor board or the magnetron to fix this problem. Will gladly donate to you for the correct advice....Paul

      @WorldRandomVideos  Před 3 lety +3

Hi, thank you for your question
It's difficult to tell exactly what cause this problem but here are some common problems that can Cause this issue
Control boards are often misdiagnosed-before replacing the control board, first check more commonly defective parts, particularly the door switches. If all of the other components are working properly, replace the control board.
If the microwave runs for a few seconds and stops the touchpad might be at fault. This is not common. Generally speaking, if the microwave display is working and some of the buttons respond correctly but some don’t, the problem is with the touchpad.
To determine if the touchpad and control panel are defective, try pressing each of the buttons on the control panel. If some of the buttons respond correctly while others don’t, replace the touchpad and control panel.
If the microwave runs for a few seconds and stops the thermoprotector may have tripped. This is a safety device to prevent the microwave from overheating. It can be tested for continuity to see if it's blown.
All microwaves have a fan. This fan runs when the microwave is on to keep the magnetron and electronics cool. If the microwave starts but the fan doesn't kick on, it may stop automatically for safety reasons. Listen for the fan. If you don't hear it turn on, you likely need to have the fan motor repaired or replaced.
Your Panasonic microwave also has an air intake grill, or vent. If it gets clogged up with dust, grease and debris, the oven will not work properly. Like with the fan, the microwave will shut itself off as a safety measure. Clean out the grill with a small brush.
Sometimes over-the-range microwaves suffer from moisture issues due to steam rising from the cooktop. In this case, the circuitry may be damaged
Other things that may cause your microwave to suddenly shut down are problems with the internal fuses, circuit board issues, defective power diodes, or a malfunctioning magnetron or high-voltage capacitor. All of these require a professional to diagnose and fix the problem.
I hope you can find out and. All the best 👍

Hi friend sorry for late reply was busy
      Here are most common causes
Common solutions for: Panasonic Microwave shuts off after a few seconds. A door switch might be failing intermittently. Check each of the door switches for signs of overheating, arcing, or burning. ... If the microwave runs for a few seconds and stops the touchpad might be at fault.
      1. Faulty door switches
There are door switches in a microwave which must be sealed tightly for the microwave to operate properly. If the microwave runs for a few seconds and then shuts off, the door switch might be defective or loose. Sometimes arching or overheating of door
      2. Defective touch-pad or control panel
Some microwave models have knobs and dials while others have touch-pads. Microwaves with touch-pads are technological advanced but sensitive compared to the ones with knobs. So if your microwave stops suddenly then there might be a short in the touch-pad control panel.
      3. Malfunctioning voltage transformer
There is a high voltage transformer in a microwave that produces high voltage to charge the magnetron. Upon charging the magnetron emits radio-waves which travels through the wave guide and enter the food area to cook or heat your food. If the microwave runs for a few seconds and stops
      4. Faulty cooling fan
There is a fan inside microwave that runs to keep magnetron and other circuitry items cool. So if the microwave starts but the fan does not turn on, it may stop automatically for safety reason.

My microwave fuse at control board keep blowing when I press start .. how to fix

    • @WorldRandomVideos
      @WorldRandomVideos  Před 3 lety +1

First when you replace the fuse is it same amp ? If the fuse you replace same capacity and still blowing off than there is another problems
A faulty interlock switch is often the culprit if you're blowing fuses regularly. If the microwave fuse blew because you opened the door while it was running, that's a "smoking gun." Otherwise, you'll need to test the switch. First, unplug the microwave. ... If that's not the case, replace the switch.
      Another reasons
Here are some possible causes of repeated blown fuses, from the easiest to fix at home to the hardest.
The cooling fan might have died or lost its effectiveness. If the oven goes a long time between blown fuses, this might be the reason. An object might have gotten lodged in the fan and stopped it from rotating. Removing it could fix the problem. Accumulated dust and grease might be obstructing the air flow, in which case cleaning up the fan and the vent could improve the situation. Third, the positioning of the oven could block the air flow. Moving it so that it has better ventilation may fix the problem. Or the fan may just have stopped working, in which case you’ll need to replace it.
A loose screw or other piece of metal could be causing a short circuit. Inspect the interior for any suspicious objects. If you see something lying loose, you may be able to get it out. Don’t touch any interior metal without discharging the capacitor first. A tool such as needle-nose pliers may let you get it out safely, but only use one with a well-insulated handle, and be careful what you touch.
The high voltage capacitor could be shorted out. A capacitor with a charge is extremely dangerous to touch, but once it’s discharged, replacing it is within the reach of someone skilled at home electrical repairs. Do NOT attempt if you have not been properly trained on microwave repair.
If the fuse blows when you open the door, the door interlock might be malfunctioning. This is a design feature. If the door isn’t properly closed, microwaves could leak out. The oven will disable itself rather than let this happen. This is a tricky repair, involving multiple small components, and best left to a good repair shop.

      Hi Chris
      Here are selections most recent
If it stops at 16 seconds and is a sensor model, it probably has a defective humidity sensor.
You can find links to helpful exploded view diagrams and part ordering help here.
I recommend that you bookmark that link to your favorites.
If it stops after 22 seconds, that means the controller has detected a problem, usually a problem with the inverter, controller, magnetron, or a bad connection from one or the other.
Due to the lethal voltages used and produced in inverters, I do not recommend that an inexperienced person work on these.
