The one thing that always makes me chuckle in Kingdom Come: Deliverance is the mercy kill with a war hammer, its not merciful at all, you are literally just wailing on their face with a hammer until they die. It takes like 3-4 whacks to put them out of their misery. Henry is just a psychopath at this point.

Yeah it is pretty gruesome. What was funny was I was watching my buddy the other play and anytime he would mercy kill he would put away his weapon and stomp em out.

Did this the other day. Got frustrated at a particular bug that caused me to commit a crime so I thought I'll take it a step further and commit mass genocide, and ended up killing almost 300 civilians(clearing each city) and all the guards, if they don't also count as civilians). Got my bow, strength and vitality all up to 20. Did about 70k damage. It was surprisingly easy too(with bow) to kill any and all guards. Headshot or 2-3 body shots and each one is down. In the end it wasn't very interesting though so I don't recommend you do this, unless you don't feel like anything else. Strangely enough most of the time I was invisible to guards, even when killing their comrades right next to them in broad daylight. Was hilarious to see some of their reactions. Literally shit like "now where did that murderer go" while I was standing 5m away and the sun was shining.
Yeah, especially if you have that daring debonair perk and make zero noise. I prefer the bow to the sword.

After a while you can't pay your way out of jail time, you need to go to jail. Maximum jail time is 10 days which is a bit weird.

I like how no matter how bad of a crime Henry commits, he never gets hung, beheaded, or forced into one of those things for public humiliation with the tomatoes
it'd be more immersive if that actually happened lol. I hope that if there is a sequel depending on the crime you get different punishments. (murder you get hanged, thieving could be the pillory or jail time, and brawling or other disturbances of peace could just be a fine of some sort)

The combat system in this game is the best I've ever played. I really hope warhorse builds this far more deeply as the story progresses in future games.
Yeah I like the realism of the combat system although the learning curve is as gentle as a waterfall.
It took me going on a bow shooting rampage in a town before I began to become marginally proficient with the bow.
Fix the lockpicking, as in make it like an actual lock and stick to the realism part of the claim, KCD is a great game buts it bugs are like scars it can’t hide.

I've been doing this basically all day, I started with Rattay and went and slaughtered every other village. The guards don't seem to put up much of a fight they like to just stand there while I jab at them, and sit and watch me kill all their comrades while yelling "YOU'VE COMMITTED A CRIME" probably the most fun I've had on the game so far (not saying the rest of the game isn't fun though)

this takes me back to Jack 2&3, Morrowind, Oblivion, Skyrim, GTA, Scarface, Fallout 2, Fallout 3, Fallout NV, Fallout 4, Red Dead Redemption, and pretty much every other RPG I've ever played. Also I've never played it but another acceptable one is Saints Row series.

I love playing KCD. I had to kill a witness to my crime I committed on one of the outward villages in the woods. One lady escaped, chased her down like in the beginning of inglorious bastards ☠️
That flying glitch happened to me while I was scouting out the big bandit base. No one pulled a bow, so I just kept shooting them with arrows. Killed 3 and 1 ran away. I saved and restarted the game. It worked great =)
It is not a glitch: you trigger it by pressing f1 which allows to fly (if you have the mod "Cheat" installed I think). I can fly anytime and it's also possible to move fast with the f2 key.

i know i was taking it without the context(of your channel) , but thats how it was given to me :) Dont take me wrong i tried to kill whole cities in some games too thats classic end game shit, but idk if i would make vid about it and if i did it wouldnt be 30 mins long . I think during editing i would realize its too much repetition and i would cut it down to like 5 mins.But hey, its just my opinion ;)

The best killing spree I've done so far was in Rattay when I found a halberd xd

I bought thr DLCs recently and after the quest with Johanka I went for a killing spree in the monastery, multiple times. What annoys me is that you can't kill the Prior, no matter what you do to him he will always be back.
This is where I'm at in the game. I just go to every town to murder and pillage everything. Maxed out stats and I'm the most hated and most powerful warlord in Bohemia.
The way you fix the flying bug is getting back on you're horse

That's funny, I was doing the same thing in Rattay (killing spree), and I got shot up into the air really high. I didn't get stuck in the air though, and amazingly I didn't die when I landed. It was wild.
Go to Vranik bellow Sassau and then follow the path along the river and through the forest. Bandits/cummins will continuously spawn as you ride along the path every minute or so.

Easiest way to do this is go to Rattay kill a guard who is carrying a polearm and then use it to slaughter all the guards who come at you. The polearms are incredibly broken and right clicking can take out a guard in plate armor in 2-3 hits. Do it near the southern entrance of Rattay where the beggars are so that you only have to deal with the Skalitz troops first. I'm not sure if it still works since the game was patched but I did it before.

quick tip, to get rid of the flying bug, call your horse to a place you can mount him, mount him and unmount

I do this whenever I die and lose a lot of progress, one time I murdered everyone in every town and village before accidentally riding my horse off a cliff.
I had the flying bug once as well, while battling the wayfarer knight. I flew up in the air. I was sure that I would take fall damage but I landed directly on the knight and knocked him out. I then robbed it and when he came to he also gave me my prize for defeating him 😂
I know it's a fairly old video and you've probably already realized but the reason you were flying is because you pressed f1 and you probably have the mod "Cheat" installed which allows to fly. It's possible to land safely again if you hit the same key again (though be careful: if you press it a third time you'll fall to your death). You can also move really fast by pressing f2.
You fix the flight glitch by getting on your horse, you have to walk whichever way lowers you call your horse and get on

Use your special sword moves. It’s a big advantage when fighting a guy with a shield.

I like the AIin this game- those poor tavern ppl started running just before you shotyour first arrow :D would be fun to have some mounted cuman bandits featured in game. It feels kinda awkward that they just chill somewhere in forests, they must´ve get there in first place :D
Get a polearm, mount a horse, use the stabbing attack and then go on a spree in Rattay. It oneshots everything.

I completely killed the monastery and the artisans/blacksmith area then coach inn and half of sasau then I got 5 guards on me at once and died.
Do the Sneaky Satan challenge: While doing the monastery quest (where you need to kill Pious) try to kill every single monk without getting caught and still doing your daily chores.

So what happens in other towns are you accepted? What happens if you literally kill everybody, not just Rattay's population? Do the guards endlessly respawn?
