So it's not so much that the ego is a sinking ship; it's that the ego is a sunk ship. Knowing that, we can be nonjudgmental toward it and focus all our attention on listening to the Holy Spirit Voice which constantly leads us toward the infinite spaciousness that we are? Then we simply rise up above the waters, floating on waves of deep calm & serenity. We liberate ourselves from caring about the furniture on the deck or the ship or ANYTHING that takes us out of the ever-present m-ohm-ent. ❤

"You must look at the error first. Notice it and do not judge against it. Do not do more because you will be getting in the Holy Spirit's way. Do not tell Him what He should do! Just be still and want nothing else. Do not struggle to do His job. Just do nothing. 1:05:00.... Do not try to fix anything! Ego has no power and does not exist. Just be still.

I had been following you for a bit now and was going in and out of being able to absorb /connect to anything. Since you started posting the written words in the community section I could understand everything in a way (it felt like with my whole body just loved it and knew it and absorbed it).. and so I am so grateful and in love with those community posts... anyways i turned to this video to see if I could hear it and i cried through this entire thing its felt like coming home and I just wanted to say thank you dearly and deeply from my space to your space :) I am overflowing with love for this experience.

That was a fabulously succinct explanation of the split mind, thank you so much. Loved the tough love; the training pants are OFF. The discussion of the split mind brings up a question that has gnawed at me for a while. For most people the answer might be obvious, but for me it’s always been a source of confusion. So here goes. My understanding of the split mind is this: There is the ego, which for me is, basically, Audrey, who thinks has a body with endless needs and thoughts, etc. Then there is the right mind, which I imagine really has no name, because name implies separation, and the right mind is only seemingly separated until atonement is accepted as the truth that always was. Is that correct? The right mind is NOT Audrey. I ask because I often see folks who give a name to their egos (and I have done that myself). But lately it occurs to me that by doing that, by naming my ego Fido, for example, I am identifying Audrey as the right mind who is aware of Fido. It seems like I’m adding another layer of separation to the existing separation and setting myself back in understanding. Please note: I am NOT judging anyone’s process-whatever works for each of us at any stage in the process is great. I’m just basically trying to understand the nature of the right mind, which I assume is NOT Audrey. Because I know Audrey and she is definitely not at the top of the ladder. ;)

It's so tempting to try to be a "right minded" separate self. Ego will always try to come in the backdoor.
Audrey doesn't exist but YOU, Awareness do.
You are always Awareness (the Space in the room) even when you think you are the stories (furniture in the room / Audrey)
