How To Make Proper CHILI GARLIC SAUCE | Homemade Chili Garlic Paste

  • Try this intense flavor CHILI GARLIC SAUCE | Homemade Chili Garlic Paste.
    INGREDIENTS:
    (Crunchy Chili Garlic Recipe)
    3 heads Garlic, chopped
    1/2 cup Red Chili (Sili Labuyo), chopped
    1 tbsp Sesame Oil
    1/2 tsp Black Pepper
    3 tbsp Oyster Sauce
    2 tbsp Vinegar
    1 tbsp Brown Sugar
    1/2 tsp Red Chili powder for more spicy flavor (optional)
    (Chili Garlic Paste)
    **add 2-3 tbsp Vinegar and 1 tbsp Light Soy Sauce, stir for a minute then turn off the heat

    Exactly the recipe I was looking for! I’ve seen many recipes on youtube but I knew the sugar part was missing. My sister bought a jar of chili oil from the store and I could taste the subtle sweet taste. The oyster sauce and sesame oil must definitely be the other ingredients. Thank you so much for sharing!

    Chef Drew here, nice recipe and very nice video. This seems to be a version of a Chinese sauce or condiment, very nice. If you replaced the oyster sauce with fish sauce and the vinegar with lime juice, it would be more of a Thai sauce, any and all are really great. Thank you for making and sharing this video...Asian style cooking is my all-time fav!!

      And always remember, cooking is an ART and there is never a PROPER way to make art.....don't forget that. Now if you were to write, 'the proper way to make this certain sauce, from this certain region of this specific country, I MIGHT agree. In my 30+ years as a chef, there is no ONR 'proper' way to make any sauce....

      Lahat po ng lutuin, kung gusto mong tumagal ito at wag mapanis, ang sikreto po ay ang paglalagay ng half tspn of vinegar😊. Got this technique from my father who used to ba a cook.

      One more thing kung ggwa kayo ng pang marami hang chili oil e wag hahaluhan ng onion kc mas mdling mapanis yan pag may onion masyado kcng acidic kaya pinapaikli ang shelf span nito. Pero kht na hndi mo icrisp yan matagal tlga shelf span nyan since May suka at nakababad sya sa mantika. You can also add aromatics if you want

      Pwede pong both
      Dipende po sa inyo. Pwede nyo rin po experiment kung ano mas ok sa inyo. Dont be afraid. Kasi kung mapapansin nyo ibang chilli garlic sauce di masyado ramdam o napapansin yung garlic. Pero meron din po iba talagang ramdam mo parin yung garlic, tulad po ng garlic oil na nilalagay sa siomai usually nakakagat mo pa yung garlic. Dipende po yun sa kung chinop nyo lang ng knife na may buo buo pa o pininu nyo using blender.

    Helo po grabee gumawa po ako at nagustuhan ng anak ko ginawa ng pang ulam din at yong bumili ng siomai ko nag order pa. Chef ask lang po gaano po tatagal ang chili garlic na ito kasi po titinda ko rin salamat po talaga sa recipe🙏
